Cao Jianlou (1913-2005) from Nantong, Jiangsu Province, formerly known as Zhen, Jianqiu, zhai name reading useful book, with Heng room. A disciple of Wang, he is good at Chinese painting, calligraphy, and seal carving. He was a painter at the Shanghai Academy of Chinese Painting, a member of the Xiling Printing Society, a member of the China Artists Association, a librarian of the Shanghai Museum of Culture and History, and the vice president of the Wu Changshuo Research Association. Representative works include "Standard Palm Cuckoo", "Tulip" and so on. Cao Jian Lou once received the guidance of the famous painter Wang Geyi, immersed in many years of study, Mr. Cao Jian Lou is famous for painting flowers, vegetables and fruits, pomegranates, especially painting pomegranates is known as "Cao Pomegranate".
