Ukrainian and Russian war reports always sketch a completely opposite battlefield posture.

On March 16, the Ukrainian War Report reported the results of the five major battles:

It eliminated 40% of the Russian troops entering the territory, forcing the Russian Ministry of Defense to graduate cadets of higher military academies in advance and send them to Ukraine as an organization. Successfully kept the Russian army out of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts in Eastern Ukraine.

Russian forces continue to carry out missile attacks on Ukraine's critical infrastructure, civilians, residential areas, schools and kindergartens; three Russian warships approaching Odessa to launch attacks on the oblast; forcing the Russians to replenish new battalion-level tactical groups and foreign mercenaries.

The russian Defense Ministry war report the day before was written like this:

Since the start of the special military operation, the Russian armed forces have destroyed a total of 1306 Tanks and Armored Vehicles in Ukraine; 127 multiple rocket launch systems; 471 artillery and mortars; 1504 military vehicles; and 156 drones.

In fact, from the first day of the military operation, the Ukrainian war report had little credibility.

First of all, normally speaking, as long as 1/3 of the opponent's number is destroyed, it basically loses the combat effectiveness of the formation; hitting 2/5 of the opposite side is almost a rout, and it is only a matter of time before it hits Moscow.

Second, Russia's missile attacks on civilians and residential areas are not very credible. First, missiles are expensive, and it is not worth it to attack civilian targets. Second, if Russia had attacked indiscriminately, I am afraid that it would have been able to control all major cities in Ukraine.

It can be said that Ukraine's war reports are almost useless except to fool ordinary people, and Zelenskiy may have believed these things before he had the courage to argue with Putin. (bear)
