Onion wants to hold a solo exhibition in the newly completed Ningbo Wu Yongliang Art Museum in his second hometown, and invited me to preface it.

My initial impression of the onion was a picture album in the joint exhibition of Ningbo and Wenzhou more than ten years ago, in which she made a deep impression on the understanding and interpretation of pen and ink in one of her sketches. Unfortunately, at that time, I misremembered her as the author of Wenzhou, and it was naturally fruitless to ask people to inquire... After a few more years, I met her unexpectedly at an event, but I was confused for many years... Then she was invited to join the creative researcher of Zhejiang Academy of Painting, after years of all-round assessment and her own efforts, won the unanimous recognition of the academy, and finally transferred from Ningbo to Zhejiang Academy of Painting as a full-time painter in 2020 - just in response to the sentence: gold will always shine.

So far, the overall impression of onions on me is as follows:

First, as a female landscape painter, she has a thousand hills and ravines in her husband's chest, and adds a bit of femininity of delicacy, elegance and tenderness. The quiet poetry has become the main tone of her creation in recent years, and the landscape and water flowing out of the ink will make people linger and can't help but love...

Second, the onion has a high understanding of Chinese brush and ink, and this talent makes her learn from and comb the scenery of nature, and she has a kinetic energy that is difficult for ordinary people to achieve, and she can do whatever she wants. In your most comfortable way, choose all things and unite things and me... Needless to say, she has found the origin of Chinese landscape painting...

Third, for so many years, the creation of lush landscape painting has been tirelessly pursuing the poetic realm - facing the impetuousness of the current landscape painting creation brush and ink and the paleness of the artistic conception, her original quest and strength to watch, especially its preciousness... I have always stressed that the creation of Chinese landscape painting is like a poetry, and it is necessary to invest all its feelings and cultivation to get one scene and one environment, which is the so-called supreme realm of landscape painting.

Fourth, onions are a small number of full-time painters who do not have a "National Beauty" academic background, which is less than a lot of conventional rules and regulations, one by one can be more free to do as you please, and trace the source of their own space. She is now more in directly tracing the "two Song" laws one by one, strong and soft, the creation of the teacher,the north and south compatibility, the straight lyricism of the chest... I have always appealed: if Chinese landscape painting does not carry the banner of the "Two Song Dynasties" again, it will have no future... I am pleased that the green onion has undoubtedly been silently carrying the flag...

Wang Onion, as a member of the Zhejiang Academy of Painting, a new recruit and a fresh force, we have given more expectations and high hopes - landscape painting has always been the strength of the Zhejiang Academy of Painting, from the founder of the Academy, Lu Yushao, to the first generation of full-time painters Zeng Mi and Mr. Jiang Baolin, who are all worthy of being masters and leaders in the national industry, including the second and third generations of the current Zhejiang Academy of Painting are the best among the peers in the country, so I also hope that the Jiangshan generation of the Zhejiang Academy of Painting will have talents to continue to carry the academic banner raised by this predecessor one by one... As a part of it, onions now have a long way to go...

Over the years, Wang Onion has traveled south to the north, she knows that "the landscape is a thing, the beauty of creation, walking with the trip, there is infinite wonder" When she went north to study and digest and absorb, she went all the way to the west, Lijiashan, Ephedra Liang, Taihang Mountain Sketching brought a completely different aesthetic experience from the south, and then Xinjiang, Tibet and so on walked away. However, after "searching for the Qifeng draft", it is necessary to comb through the comparison, inject structural thinking, turn the external object into the inner self, and there are more such possibilities in the mountain residence. The eyes are vast and the look back is calm. Wang's lush valley white stone and sky light series should benefit from such a calm contrast, which is her ingenuity and her ability.
