Yangpu District "100 BU Wearing YANG" cultural and creative design competition voting has begun!

In order to practice the important concept of "people's city built by the people, people's city for the people" and focus on the "Shanghai culture" brand, this year's creative design competition is based on the profound historical context, rich red resources and cultural and creative innovation advantages of Yangpu District, aiming to promote the vitality of creative innovation through creativity, innovation and creation. Focus on the cultural and creative expression that integrates "architectural characteristics", "Shanghai culture" and "creative design", encourage the active participation of citizens, enterprises, institutions and groups, comprehensively enhance the "social participation" and "life design" of cultural and creative design, and promote the "product transformation" and "brand communication" of cultural and creative concepts.

This design competition includes two aspects:

1. Brand image design:

Yangpu Riverside tourism brand logo design

2. Cultural and creative product design:

(1) Design cultural and creative products or creative design drafts about cultural and creative souvenirs, blind boxes, etc. around the characteristics of industrial heritage buildings such as the old site of Huangpu Wharf, the old site of Yong'an Stackhouse, and the Maoma Warehouse.

(2) Carry out cultural and creative product design around the intangible cultural heritage of Shanghai Port Wharf in Yangpu District, such as trumpets, mian fists, wheat straw paintings, egg carvings, etc., in the form of cultural and creative souvenirs, blind boxes, etc.

(3) Around the theme of Yangpu's "four hundred years" (100 years of industry, 100 years of university, 100 years of red labor movement, 100 years of municipality), design Yangpu tourism souvenirs, tourism souvenirs, etc.

The Yangpu District Culture and Tourism Bureau and the School of Design of Shanghai Jiao Tong University jointly launched the "Yangpu District '100 BU Wearing YANG' Cultural and Creative Design Competition" in November 2021.

After more than four months of intense publicity and mobilization, collection and selection, a total of 302 creative design works in the categories of industrial heritage architecture, intangible cultural heritage, tourism souvenirs and logo design were submitted, and finally 281 works entered the evaluation stage.

Voting rules: Each WeChat account can only cast 1 time during the voting period

The competition will invite cultural and creative industry experts and industry leaders as the competition consultants, and a judging committee composed of academics, design, intellectual property and business circles will be composed to select the entries. Awards will be set up for "cultural and creative product design" and "logo design", and the first, second and third prize works will be selected, and the maximum prize money can be 10,000 yuan, and honorary certificates will be issued.

In addition, there are also special network selection feature awards, including the Excellent Architectural Cultural and Creative Design Award (Industrial Heritage Architecture), the Excellent Cultural Heritage Design Award (Intangible Cultural Heritage), the Excellent Tourism Cultural and Creative Design Award (Tourism Souvenir), and the Excellent Brand Communication Design Award (Logo Design) (3,000 yuan in prize money) each (3,000 yuan) to award honorary certificates. The outstanding works selected will be exhibited in influential offline venues.
