Regarding the location of Tesla's second gigafactory in China, it has also attracted much attention recently, and many cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Qingdao, Zhengzhou and many other cities have been rumored to have joined the melee, but it is still unknown who will end up in the end. At present, the annual production capacity of the Shanghai gigafactory exceeds 600,000 vehicles, and it is still moving towards the limit of 1 million vehicles, and once the second Tesla gigafactory in China is completed, the total production capacity of the two factories may reach 2 million vehicles.
Before the large-scale production of the Berlin factory, the Shanghai factory has been responsible for Tesla's global export center, last year's large number of exports to the European market to a certain extent affected Tesla's delivery in the Chinese market, and now the Berlin factory has begun to put into operation, the pace of mainland delivery has accelerated, and this year's sales volume is bound to go to a higher level.
