My daughter is now in kindergarten, and I have thought of many ways to read my child, and I have stepped on many pits.
In the beginning, I read picture books to children and liked to point to words and read them to children sentence by sentence, and I thought that this way children could quickly read.
But then I found that this method does not seem to work, because the child just remembers the position of each word, and once the child reads each word in a different position or separately, the child will not recognize it.
For example, I taught my child this sentence "I want to be different" before, and the child learned it and then read it to his father with his fingers, but when the father asked how to pronounce the word "no", the child was completely confused and could not answer.
In addition, the literacy card also bought some, I found that the child's ability to memorize words alone is not strong, if you force the child to remember the word, the child will forget after a few minutes, can not form a long-term memory.
Later, I read a lot of parenting books, and it turned out that the memory characteristics of children in early childhood are mainly based on image memory.
That is to say, the child's memory is completely different from that of adults, the child's memory is mainly based on the brain to summarize the image of an object, first remember the type of the object before understanding the real meaning, and finally form a long-term memory, the child will not forget.
