Tesla's sales exceeded 50,000 units for 6 consecutive months!
Just today, the Association released the February car sales data, which also includes Tesla. Tesla's wholesale sales in February were 56,515 units. Because Tesla is a direct-operated model, its wholesale sales can be seen as its actual delivery volume.
It should be noted that this is the sixth consecutive month that Tesla has stood on the 50,000 monthly sales level. According to public data, in the five months from September 2021 to January 2022, Tesla's monthly sales were 56,006 units, 54,391 units, 52,859 units, 70,847 units and 59,845 units, respectively.
Tesla's good sales can also reflect the situation of the entire new energy market. According to the data of the Association of Passenger Vehicles, the production of new energy passenger cars reached 351,000 units in February, an increase of 208.1% year-on-year, of which plug-in hybrid models increased the most, up 436.9% year-on-year, and pure electric vehicles increased by 174.5% year-on-year.
In terms of sales, retail sales of new energy passenger cars reached 272,000 units in February, up 180.5% year-on-year and down 22.6% month-on-month. In addition, wholesale sales of new energy passenger vehicles reached 317,000 units in February, up 189.1% year-on-year and down 24.1% month-on-month.

It is worth noting that there were 5 enterprises with wholesale sales of new energy vehicles exceeding 10,000 units in February, an increase of 2 over the same period.
The car companies with wholesale sales of new energy models exceeding 10,000 are: BYD, whose wholesale sales of new energy models are 87,473 units, ranking first; the second is Tesla, with wholesale sales of 56,515 units in February; the third is SAIC-GM-Wuling, whose wholesale sales are 26,046; the fourth is Geely Automobile, with wholesale sales of 14,285 units; Chery Automobile ranks fifth with wholesale sales of 10,271 units.
Overall, the new energy vehicle market continues to develop and has a relatively large room for growth.
First, the sales of new cars in February fell collectively, but the increase was significant compared with the same period last year
Judging from the data released by the Federation of Automobile Manufacturers, although the sales volume of new energy vehicles increased by more than 180% year-on-year, it was a decline in both wholesale sales and retail sales.
The rapidly developing new car manufacturers are no exception, and there is also a phenomenon of sales decline from the previous quarter.
At the beginning of March, new car manufacturers invariably showed their report cards for February. After the sales were announced, the car thing found that each company had declined to varying degrees.

According to the sales volume announced by the car companies themselves, the best performance in February was the ideal car, with 8414 new cars sold in a single month, once again ranking first in the monthly sales list of new cars, but compared with January, there were also more than 3,000 declines.
Xiaopeng Automobile sold a total of 6,225 new cars in February, compared with the total sales of nearly 13,000 in January, while Weilai Automobile sold 6,131 new cars in February, compared with nearly 10,000 sales in January, the decline is also more obvious.
Among the second-tier new car companies, although Nezha Automobile sold 7,117 vehicles in February, ranking second among the new car companies, there is still a gap compared with 11,000 in January. Zero-run cars also sold only 3,435 new cars in February, less than half of January's sales.
The reason for the decline in sales, in addition to the objective factor of the overall market sales downturn caused by the Spring Festival holiday, various car companies have also encountered different problems.
In February, Suzhou, an important domestic parts town, was affected by the epidemic, and the supply of some parts of Ideal Automobile was affected.
During the Spring Festival holiday from the end of January to February, Xiaopeng Automobile underwent a technical transformation of its Zhaoqing plant, which ultimately affected the overall delivery volume.
Several other car companies have also been affected by the supply of chips, batteries and other parts to varying degrees.
On the whole, the sales volume of new car companies this year has increased significantly compared with last year, although there has been a certain degree of decline in delivery, the overall growth trend is still very obvious, and the entire new energy industry is also developing in a better direction.

At the beginning of this year, the new energy automobile industry has encountered the problem of subsidy decline and supply chain difficulties, and it seems that the entire industry has suffered a major blow, but a closer look at the report card can be found that the resilience of the new energy industry is already very strong.
Taking Tesla as an example, although its sales have fluctuated within 6 months, Tesla's monthly sales are still stable at more than 50,000 units, refreshing the record of sales of 50,000 units for five consecutive months.
From the overall point of view, although various car companies have suffered a decline in sales in February, they have made a very big breakthrough compared with the same period last year, and from this point of view, the entire new energy automobile industry is still rising.
