Muse will introduce a new Quset 2-compatible EEG headband "Muse S."

Recently, meditation company Muse revealed its plans to enter the VR market, creating a new EEG headband compatible with mainstream VR headsets such as Meta Quest 2.

Muse, a meditation company, sees great potential for integrating biosensor data into web 3 and metaversms, with products such as the EEG headband focused on mental health. The EEG headband integrates numerous biosensors that enable it to capture biological signals such as the brain and heart in real time to detect the user's health. These features are ideal for use in medical, educational, and training fields in VR headsets.

It is reported that the new VR headband, called Muse S-VR, will be based on Interaxon (Muse's parent company) second-generation EEG headband Muse S, which is equipped with the company's four-channel EEG system, which can achieve PPG, ECG, EMG (muscle tension) and EOG (eye movement) biosensing functions. Prior to the hardware release, Muse had released a beta version of the VR Software Development Kit (SDK) that supported the Android, iOS, Windows, Unity, and Unreal game engines.
