On May 13, Maotan Village, Yongle Town, Rongshui Miao Autonomous County, organized cadres of the two village committees, village-based work teams, and volunteers to carry out a series of rural governance activities with the masses, cleaning the leaves, garbage, and weeds on the road into the village and the alleys in the village, and cleaning the village public pool. Through the distribution of brochures and lectures, the relevant policies of urban and rural residents' pension insurance and the new trend of changing customs are also publicized to the masses.

On May 14, on the occasion of the 34th National Day for the Disabled, Yongle Town, in collaboration with the County Disabled Persons' Federation, carried out a series of activities to distribute black fragrant pigs to help the disabled in Dongyang Village, Yongle Town. 66 black fragrant pig seedlings and 44 packs of pig feed from the Sunshine Disability Assistance Base in Rongshui County were distributed free of charge to 22 disabled families. The disabled and their relatives and friends received the black fragrant pig seedlings that increased their income, and their faces showed a smile of gratitude and joy, and the atmosphere was lively and warm.
On the day of the event, the staff also had face-to-face conversations with the disabled and their relatives and friends to understand their thoughts and needs, and publicized and interpreted the "two subsidies" for the disabled one by one, the support for the disabled to start their own businesses, and other policies to help the disabled and benefit the disabled, so as to further enhance the awareness of the disabled to protect their legitimate rights and interests.
