On the evening of July 25 this year, our district was affected by the super typhoon "fireworks", and more than 20 trees fell in the Wanjingfeng community, and there were also problems such as the crooked pole of civil defense, the collapse of pedestrian separation facilities, and the water in the road area.
Team leader Tao Jin saw the news in the group, did not say a word, put on a rain poncho, hurriedly gathered the members of the volunteer service team, and carried out the investigation of potential safety hazards in the community with the neighborhood committee and property staff. Due to the continuous rainfall and the problem of water accumulation in the internal point of the basement, volunteers contacted the property for the first time to increase the drainage pump and increase the drainage to eliminate the worries of the residents. In addition, after the "raging" of typhoon "fireworks" overnight, the manhole cover and drainage outlet in the community were blocked by leaves, and they and the secretary of the neighborhood committee cleaned up leaves, garbage and other debris with their bare hands and dredged the drainage pipe.

At that time, the interior of the garbage house was rough, and most of the volunteers who came to volunteer were old aunts and uncles who were in the age of flower armor, and when it was windy, rainy, or in the summer or winter, the volunteers could not work inside for a long time. Team leader Tao Jin witnessed the "tragic situation" of the garbage room when throwing away the garbage, and took the initiative to find Chen Weirong, the secretary of the neighborhood committee, and asked for the transformation of the "garbage room". Therefore, Tao Jin, Cai Chenlin, Tian Wei, Ge Yong and several other enthusiastic residents spontaneously raised funds to do the interior decoration for this "rough house".
Uncle Wang Yulong, who is responsible for the volunteer service of garbage classification, said: "Since the renovation of the garbage room, recyclable garbage and hazardous garbage can be neatly placed, and when it is windy and rainy, the surrounding sanitation workers can still come in to avoid the rain, lala home, like a small home.
