Darius Hulea is an artist from Romania who graduated from the University of Art and Design in Napoca, specializing in sculpture, and received a scholarship during his time, and his works have participated in several group exhibitions. He is known for his superb portraits, which are made of iron, stainless steel, copper and brass wire, among others. The artist successfully combines elements of contemporary and classical art to bring his sculptures to life. Using industrial materials, Darius molded them into recognizable portraits of famous historical figures depicting Romanian artists, philosophers, poets and other famous figures whose sculptural works spread throughout Romania.
