Before the test rolling, Zhu Lijun, director of Jinhui Zhongchao Factory, asked the process technicians to consider the rolling precautions from the aspects of equipment parameters and safe operation. In order to roll 1.6MM thickness, the hot rolling workshop first starts from the intermediate billet thickness, changes the original 36MM intermediate billet thickness to 34MM thickness, and compares the temperature, rolling mill load, on-site plate type and other data. After confirming that there was no significant temperature drop in the middle billet and good rolling stability, five steel billets were rolled on April 21, and the first test rolling was successful.
