Journey 5 is the third generation of Horizon vehicle specification products, with both large computing power and high performance, a single chip AI computing power of up to 128 TOPS, support 16 camera perception calculations, support for autonomous driving required multi-sensor fusion, prediction and planning control and other needs.
It is understood that the Journey 5 chip is based on TSMC's 16nm process process, the CPU adopts the 8-core ARM Cortex A55, and the AI computing unit is a dual-core BPU Bayesian architecture. At the same time, it has dual-core ISP, CV engine, dual-core DSP, and video encoding and decoding unit.
On the interface, The Journey 5 supports 4×4 MIPI with a total of 16 camera inputs, dual Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, 4 CAN-FD for radar system integration, and 2 PCIe 3.0 high-speed signal interfaces for in-vehicle computing platforms.
