At the event site, the docent led the children into the exhibition hall, introduced in detail the development history and production methods of various cultural relics such as faience pottery and jade, and explored chinese culture in the Winter Olympics with the children. According to reports, echoing the medal "gold inlaid jade" of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the design of the "concentric" medal of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics is also inspired by the ancient Chinese concentric circle jade bi, which is intended to express the Chinese cultural concept of "heaven and earth and people's hearts". While increasing their knowledge, the children gave full play to their hands-on ability, personally designed medals with jade elements, felt the traditional culture in an innovative form, and made the cultural relics in the exhibition hall "live". In the afternoon, 20 families from Daci Community in Linxia City also walked into the State Museum to feel the traditional culture and enjoy the feast of cultural relics. Through the combination of classroom explanations and parent-child handicraft experience, the activity allowed the masses to understand the cultural connotation reflected behind the cultural relics, pulled in the distance between them and traditional culture, and let the ancient cultural relics "go out of the circle" through the Winter Olympics and glow the light of the new era.
