In Qingzhou, Shandong, there was such an incident, because of a child's plaything, archaeologists found a Han tomb.
Start the conservation of cultural relics
In fact, in the mainland, it has always been very advocating the laws and regulations for the protection of cultural relics, and between the 1980s and 1990s, it also began to vigorously advocate the protection of cultural relics. During that period, many cultural relics were indeed discovered by experts, and some experts would also open the visit mode to find cultural relics in various regions, so that these cultural relics would not be lost overseas, and at the same time, more reference objects were left for the study of history.
It happened in Qingzhou, Shandong Province, where some archaeologists went to the local area to do cultural relics protection publicity, but also to visit and collect cultural relics. During this time, an expert spotted a group of children playing together, and one of them caught his attention with a toy in his hand. He called out to the child to see the full picture of the toy he had dragged on the ground, a move that also allowed a Han tomb to be successfully excavated.
Artifacts found by chance
Experts just think that children's toys are extraordinary, it looks like a piece of jade, so being dragged will affect its preservation. But the parents of the children and the people in the village thought that the expert was a little scary, so everyone waited closely for the group. Fortunately, the experts later elaborated on the purpose of the trip, indicating that they just wanted to understand the source of this "toy" and also to take back the artifact.
The villagers heard that it was a staff member sent by the state, and they also gladly agreed to give this "toy" to the state. After identification, experts found that this jade bi was indeed a cultural relic, and it was a jade bi of the Han Dynasty. The discovery also led experts to judge the ancient tombs nearby, and through visits and inquiries, many villagers said that Yubi came from an earthen mound on the east side of the village.
Discover Han Dynasty tombs
Experts also sealed the area, while emergency reporting and survey, the surrounding survey also allowed experts to determine that this is a Han Dynasty tomb, but the preservation of the tomb is not very good, which is also very related to the tomb robbers. The discovery of children's toys is also related to the tomb robbers, because the tomb robbers used explosives to carry out excavations, which also exposed part of the tomb to the outside.
A lot of robbery holes have also been found around the tomb, and experts have analyzed that this tomb has been excavated by multiple tomb robbery gangs, and the age of tomb robbery is also relatively long, and there is no excessive expectation for the preservation of cultural relics in the tomb. Especially in the early stage of excavation, it was found that even the coffin had disappeared, and the hope of excavation of cultural relics was becoming more and more dim.
The meaning of Yisun Yubi
However, fortunately, because the tomb structure is more complex, some of these cultural relics can also be preserved, among which the more famous is Yisun Yubi. The discovery of this piece of jade bi also made the experts very happy, because it was well preserved, and it also made it a treasure in the Qingzhou Museum today.
Previously, in the "National Treasure Archives", this piece of jade bi was also introduced, it is also a good product of mainland Han Dynasty jade, the overall meaning is also very good, and because it is carved with high-grade Xinjiang Hetian jade, it is even more valuable for its historical research. In addition to this national treasure jade bi, more than 200 valuable cultural relics have been unearthed.
In summary: the excavation of this tomb is still of great significance, the tomb is a Han Dynasty tomb 1700 years ago, although some valuable cultural relics have also been unearthed, but more cultural relics have been stolen and lost also makes experts feel very sad, I hope that such excavations can be eliminated.
