BEIJING, March 4 (Xinhua) -- Machine security patrols who easily climb hills and obstacles, delivery robots that can take elevators and make phone calls, intelligent "gold medal baristas" who work fully automatically... During the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, a variety of service-oriented intelligent robots will serve in the contracted hotels, designated hospitals, and winter (paralympic) Olympic villages of the Winter Olympic Games, bringing a more convenient and safe life experience for athletes and staff from all over the world.

During the Beijing Winter Olympics, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Zhongguancun Administrative Committee actively laid out in the field of artificial intelligence industry around scenarios such as urban operation, and created a full-process service intelligent robot application demonstration. While the service-oriented intelligent robot is promoted and applied in the Winter Olympic Village, the Winter Olympic Contract Hotel, the designated hospital and other places, Beijing has set up 8 service-oriented intelligent robot centralized demonstration and display areas in the four Winter Olympic venue agglomeration areas such as Haidian, Chaoyang, Shijingshan and Yanqing, where citizens can "close contact" with more than 100 intelligent robots such as intelligent navigation, mobile vending, security inspection, distribution services, cleaning and cleaning, etc., and feel the changes brought by the Winter Olympics of science and technology to daily life.

Fangheng International Center, located in Chaoyang District, Beijing, is one of the eight service-oriented intelligent robot centralized demonstration and display areas. On the afternoon of the 3rd, the reporter met a number of "Winter Olympics same model" service intelligent robots here.

Intelligent "gatekeeper": Security patrol will be disinfected

Easily cope with 30-degree climbs and 10cm obstacle crossings, and achieve various complex road security patrols... Ma Yiran, director of operations of Continental Zhiyuan Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., introduced that the Beijing Winter Olympic Village has deployed the company's ANDI-security inspection robot in key areas. Their core task is to monitor some epidemic prevention areas in the Winter Olympic Village and do a good job as a "smart gatekeeper" for safety and epidemic prevention.

According to reports, with the advantages of the chassis, the robot monitors the epidemic prevention door in real time during the patrol process, and the comprehensive monitoring information of the scene "sight, hearing, gas and heat" is fed back to the security monitoring platform of the Winter Olympic Village in real time. At the same time, in response to the epidemic prevention needs of Beijing Winter Olympic Village, the machine is also equipped with a disinfection backpack with a capacity of 20 liters, which can carry out intelligent and autonomous disinfection and spraying tasks in the specified area.

Winter Olympics "waiter": multi-cabin delivery capacity is strong

In order to meet the requirements of epidemic prevention, during the Beijing Winter Olympics, part of the logistics tasks in the contracted hotel were completed by robots. Yunji Technology's multi-cabin delivery robot transforms into a hotel "waiter" and is used for item delivery in the Winter Olympic contract hotel and the designated hospital of the Winter Olympics.

According to reports, the multi-cabin delivery robot independently developed by Yunji Technology is a commercial service robot that can take the elevator autonomously, avoid obstacles autonomously, automatically make calls, and intelligently create maps, with functions such as delivery, takeaway delivery, notification promotion, security patrol, and safety disinfection.

The robot's four cabins can be converted according to the size of the item, the four cabins can be changed double cabins, the maximum load can withstand 10 kg, can achieve multi-task delivery of the whole floor at one time, so that the distribution efficiency and transportation capacity are greatly improved.

Gold Medal "Barista": Fully automatic tea brewing

The two robotic arms start at the same time, grinding, steaming, brewing like clouds and flowing water. During the Winter Olympics, the two-arm collaborative robot "Leopard Dabai", which signed a contract for hotel services at the Yanqing Winter Olympics, used skillful coffee and tea cooking technology to attract people to stop and taste, providing contactless service while also winning the praise of a large number of diners.

"Leopard White" is a two-arm collaborative robot independently developed by Orion Starry Sky, which is different from the general "robotic arm coffee robot", which is an intelligent robot based on millions of data-level visual training, after 3,000 hours of AI learning, composed of two six-axis collaborative robotic arms.

The person in charge said that the "leopard white" set grinding powder, steaming, brewing, cupping, cleaning in one, without manual assistance, in the work, people only need to replenish their consumables. Standardized algorithms make every cup of coffee it brews the same standard, ensuring quality while also solving the hygiene worries of diners.

At present, the robot has landed more than 100 units around the world, mainly in coffee shops and large-scale exhibitions around the world, so that more people can get a new experience of robot coffee making.

It is understood that in addition to the above robots, during the Beijing Winter Olympics, there are a variety of service robots that can provide intelligent interaction, food delivery marketing, cleaning and disinfection, garbage collection and automatic distribution in various urban scenarios, and service-oriented intelligent robots are entering more and more public places in Beijing to make urban life "smarter".
