In order to do a solid job in the patriotic health campaign in Funan County, further control the density of rats, mosquitoes, flies and cockroaches (four pests) in our county, prevent and control the occurrence and epidemic of vector-borne infectious diseases, reduce the spread and risk of disease, build a healthy living environment, and effectively protect the health of the people. According to the work arrangement of the "Funan County 2024 Vector Biological Control Work Implementation Plan", it was decided to carry out the second round of spring vector biological centralized control activities in May.
First, the scope and content of sanitization
Roads, squares, sewers, manholes, water bodies, garbage bins, garbage transfer stations, restaurants, hotels, farmers' markets, urban villages, urban-rural junctions, residential areas, construction and demolition sites, public toilets, stations, government agencies, enterprises and institutions, schools, hospitals and other key areas in the built-up areas of Funan County, as well as parks, public green belts and other public areas to carry out drug mosquito control, fly control, rodent control, cockroach control work.
2. Schedule
(1) Investigation preparation stage: May 11 to May 15, 2024.
(2) Centralized prevention and control phase: May 16 to May 28, 2024.
(3) Self-examination and self-correction stage: May 29 to May 31, 2024.
3. Precautions
(1) All units (departments) should actively cooperate in completing the work of sanitizing, eliminate the breeding grounds of the "four evils", and achieve "three cleans": remove garbage, debris, and clay pots, remove sewage and stagnant water, and remove the residual traces of the "four evils".
(2) Residents are requested to do a good job of indoor and outdoor environmental sanitation, eliminate mosquito and fly breeding grounds, install screen curtains in the room, use mosquito nets, insecticides, etc., avoid mosquito bites, and properly store food to avoid insect pollution.
(3) Take good care of mosquito and fly prevention facilities (fly traps, mosquito lamps, etc.), and do not destroy or take them home for other purposes.
(4) During the spraying of mosquito and fly drugs, smoke and odor will be produced, which is generally harmless to the human body, but a very small number of people may also have skin allergies, etc., please do not panic and do not watch, during the mosquito control, fly control and cockroach control operations, please close the doors and windows, put away the clothes to dry, keep the food, avoid pollution, do not squat on the lawn, lie down, do not pick and touch the green plants and flowers at will, so as not to cause allergies.
(5) Rodenticide drugs in public outdoor environments are uniformly placed in special rodenticide poison bait boxes, and everyone should consciously take care of rodenticide poison bait boxes and other sanitizing facilities and equipment, and do not deliberately destroy or take them home for other purposes. (Special note: The rat poison released this time is the second generation of anticoagulant - 0.005% bromadiolone poison bait, which belongs to chronic anticoagulant rodenticide, and the effective antidote is vitamin K1. ）
(6) All units and residents are requested to actively cooperate with the work of sanitizing vector organisms, and the staff of Zhejiang Juyuan Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. will be passed.
