Kim Dae-kyun, a native of Jeju, Ji Qiaoxing, nicknamed Jade Arm Craftsman, ranked 66th in the rank of Good Han of Liangshan. He was a civilian general in charge of the Liangshan Soldiers' Seal Letter. After Zhao'an, he participated in the conquests of Liao, Tian Hu, and Wang Qing, and then stayed in the Beijing Division, and was arranged by Emperor Huizong of Song to listen to the emperor.

Jin Dajian, to be precise, was a craftsman, a stonemason who was good at engraving inscriptions. But he was not an ordinary stonemason, but a very famous stonemason. Another point is that he is not only good at carving stones, but also good at carving seals, which is different from ordinary stonemasons. The average stonemason may only be good at engraving, and may not be able to write well. And a person who is good at governing the seal, the words are certainly not bad. Otherwise, Emperor Huizong of Song would not have left him in the palace for use. At this point, it is time to call him a carver or a goldstone artist. "Water Margin" has a poem, which can reflect the author's praise for Jin Dajian, the poem said: "The phoenix seal dragon chapter is born in the hand, and the engraved seal letter is more distinct." People call the jade arm not a false reputation, and the art garden chi sound first.".

Kim Dae-kyun was originally a resident of Jeju City, and did not have much ideals and no high luxuries. He made a living by carving monuments, and with his exquisite skills and fame, he earned some money to support his family and lived a well-off life. He naturally kept to himself, could not have other extravagant expectations, and did not want to break the peaceful life. However, it was this exploitable craft that changed his fate with Wu Yong's thinking.

Jin Dajian was earned. Song Jiang sent Jiang Zhou, and after drinking, wrote a counter-poem in Xunyang Lou, and was told by Huang Wenbing that the prefect of Cai Jiu seized the handle and sentenced him to death. Cai Jiu wrote a letter to his lao tzu, the imperial master Cai Jing, asking whether to be relieved of the capital or executed on the spot, and sent a letter from Emperor Daizong, a divine taibao who traveled eight hundred miles a day. Dai Zong was captured by zhugui hotel when he traveled to Liangshan Po. In order to save Song Jiang, Wu used the idea to deceive Cai Jiu with a fake letter, and naturally thought of his acquaintances Xiao Rang and Jin Dajian, because the two of them could make the letter fake and true. Jin Dajian is a master of gold and stone, and he has seen the seal on Cai Jing's handwriting, and it is no problem to make a seal.

Wu Yong sent DaiZong to the city of Jeju to find Xiao Rang and Jin Dajian, falsely claiming to invite them to mount Taishan to carve the monument, and each of them paid fifty taels of silver first. The two believed it to be true, but they did not expect to be forcibly "invited" to the mountain by General Liangshan in the middle of the road

However, this matter still went wrong. Wu Yong ignored the custom that it was impossible for Cai Jing to write letters to his son and could not be sealed by name, and was seen by Huang Wenbing as flawed, not to mention that the seal was used by Cai Jing when he was Hanlin, and Cai Jing, who had already become the prime minister, could no longer use the seal letter of Hanlin. If you only write a letter without stamping it, you may be able to confuse the past. Using the seal letter, chao gai said it first, but it is not to blame chao gai, because Wu Yong said that he had planned it and could go to Jin Dajian. It can be seen that this mistake should mainly be counted on Wu Yong. Jin Dajian's seal, imitated no problem.

The fake letter did not deceive Cai Jiu's prefect, and Song Jiang's disaster was great, and it also involved DaiZong, who was also sentenced to be beheaded. Liangshan Po had no choice but to organize his leaders to go to Jiangzhou to rob the court, and Xiao Rang and Jin Dajian, who had just arrived in Liangshan, also participated in the battle to rescue Song Jiang and Daizong.

As the leader of Liangshan, Jin Dajian mainly used his own strengths to be responsible for the production of the soldier's seal letter. When I went out with the army, it was basically the same. After the victory, the stone was carved and let Jin Dajian do it. Stonemasons do technical work, fine work, their work, ordinary people can not do. If you want to do this kind of work well, in addition to learning from a good teacher, you also need your own intelligence. Otherwise, the carved stone tablets would not have been appreciated. Because of this, Jin Dajian was often invited to make stone tablets, and his fame was considerable.

However, Jin Dajian is not just an ordinary craftsman, he has more than ordinary stonemasons, which is the engraving of seals. It is difficult to find people who make monuments and make good prints. In fact, during the Song Dynasty, seals were not as large as the use of frozen stones after the Ming Dynasty, and the general literati also carved them. At that time, it was mainly made of metal and other materials, so it was very professional, and it required special technicians to do it, and others could not do it, including stonemasons. At that time, the most common thing was that the literati wrote and were made by craftsmen, such as Su Dongpo. Perhaps the author of "Water Margin" ignored the difference in the material of the seals of the Song Dynasty and the Ming Dynasty, and arranged for Jin Dajian to engrave the seal in addition to the inscription. Perhaps It is shi nai'an who only uses jin dajian and Xiao Rang to promote the development of the story, or the limit of 108 generals makes it inconvenient for the author to write a character who specializes in ruling the seal in addition to the stonemason Jin Dajian. Anyway, in the author's pen, Jin Dajian has become an expert who can both carve monuments and seals. This is in the character of Jin Dajian, embodying the four words of "skilled craftsman".

Jin Dajian is not a general, generally do not need to rush to kill in front of the two armies, only serve in the army, so Liangshan will die and be wounded, but Jin Dajian can do things safely. This is the characteristic of those with special expertise. Jin Dajian went from a commoner to a Liangshan general to a court clerk, relying on his own strengths to eat. When he was in Jeju, he was at home, when he was in Liangshan, he was at the cottage, and he stayed in Tokyo and at the official palace. Craftsmen are not an independent class, and different people and different circumstances lead them to rely on different camps. They have the value of exploitation and are content to obtain a source of livelihood from being used. Although they did not have much vigour, they had a rare peace and freedom.

The contemporary writer Chen Jinxuan also saw that Jin Dajian was a personal duty and a skillful artist, believing that he participated in the falsification of the Cai Jiu prefect only to save Song Jiang for a while, and still did it at wu Yong's request. And Jin Dajian himself is by no means a blindly fraudulent style, which is in line with the personality of this heroic figure. In his newly compiled story "Wu Xuezhen Asks for Help from the Sacred Hand Jade Arm Craftsman Ci Ci Knife Worker", he wrote that Wu Yong was held criminally responsible for saving the wronged Ruan Xiao'er, showing an extremely delicate style. The story writes that Wu Yong found Jin Dajian according to Ruan Xiaowu's request, asked Jin Dajian to fake a Jeju official seal, and forged a letter of literati, demanding that Yuncheng County send Ruan Xiao'er lightly. Jin Dajian did not blindly follow, but pointed out that Wu Yong was not careful, believing that it was inappropriate to falsify official documents, and it was better to use clever methods to make Yuncheng Zhixian think that Jin Dajian had a special relationship with Zhizhou, which naturally prompted Zhixian to lightly sentence Ruan Xiao'er.

Among the one hundred and eight generals of Liangshan, although there are many people who are better than Jin Dajian, Jin Dajian is only a craftsman with artistic accomplishment, but he is definitely also a well-known hero.
