On February 8, Changan Automobile held a cadre meeting to promote the tenure system and contractual management, first dismissing and re-hiring all general manager-level personnel of all second-level units; completing the employment of general managers (unit heads), deputy general managers, and non-manufacturing unit managers on February 9 and February 10; and completing the recruitment of vacant positions without suitable candidates for manager-level positions in manufacturing units on February 13.

The reporter noted that with the deepening of the personnel reform, a wider range of personnel adjustments have begun inside Changan Automobile, not only limited to the autonomous plate, but also the joint venture plate of Changan Ford and Changan Mazda has also entered the intensive personnel adjustment.

According to the above-mentioned latest list of employees, Changan Automobile has made personnel adjustments to its own vehicle brands, factories, research institutes, overseas businesses, and parts.

For example, in the personnel adjustment of the vehicle brand under Changan Automobile, Ye Mingxin concurrently served as the general manager of Auchan Automobile Division; recommended Chen Weiming as the general manager of Chongqing Changan Kaicheng Automobile Technology Co., Ltd.; Ming Qiang as the general manager of Beijing Changan Automobile Company; and recommended Zhang Yuxiang as the general manager of Nanjing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd.

The tentacles of Changan Automobile's personnel reform have reached the joint venture sector.

The reporter found in this latest list of appointments that Fu Yuanhong is also the general manager of the joint venture cooperation department, with the rank of L19, and is no longer recommended to serve as the executive vice president of Changan Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd. According to the news on February 22, this position was taken over by Wang Hui, who had served as executive vice president and party secretary of Changan Mazda Engine Co., Ltd., and head of the Changan Mazda new energy cooperation project.

In addition to Changan Mazda, on February 18, Changan Ford released the news that Chen Xiaobo was appointed executive vice president of Changan Ford's national sales and service organization, and Qin Hong was appointed as the vice president of the sales network management center of Changan Ford's national sales and service organization.

On the evening of February 22, Changan Automobile announced that the investment plan of the company and its holding subsidiary in 2022 is about 8.05 billion yuan. Among them, the fixed asset investment is about 3.246 billion yuan, including the upgrading of new energy special production capacity, high-end new energy and light vehicle product projects and other continuous construction projects; product upgrading, new product production line construction, high-end new energy products, three electric capacity and channel capacity building and other newly opened projects; light vehicle factory manufacturing capacity improvement, build high-end brands, etc.

The equity investment of about 4.804 billion yuan is mainly used to support independent new energy brands, double upgrade of scale, expand overseas markets, deepen capital relations with partners, create controllable full-stack intelligent capabilities, and continue to layout travel and industrial ecological expansion. In addition, the 35th meeting of the eighth board of directors of Changan Automobile also deliberated and passed the proposal on the financing plan for 2022, and agreed that the company should carry out interest-bearing liability financing of not more than 2.1 billion yuan.

According to the "new car, new ecology" strategy, Changan Automobile will invest a total of 150 billion yuan in the whole industry chain in the next five years, and plans to achieve 3 million Sales of Changan brand by 2025, of which new energy vehicles account for 35%; by 2030, sales will reach 4.5 million, and new energy vehicles will account for 60%. In order to achieve the set strategic goals, 2022 is considered to be a key year for Changan Automobile, which will usher in a number of new products and replacement models.
