Nandu News Reporter Zhang Yanli Recently, Baidu Apollo autonomous driving travel service platform "Radish Run" officially landed in Shenzhen, providing automatic driving demonstration application travel services for the public, which is a new enterprise in Shenzhen that provides demonstration application travel services after Yuanrong started.

So far, in the field of automatic driving, in addition to cultivating local emerging technology enterprises such as Yuanrong Qixing and Wrapping Intelligent Driving, Shenzhen has attracted domestic head enterprises such as Baidu, Xiaoma Zhixing, Wenyuan Zhixing and so on to settle down and develop in Shenzhen.

It is understood that at present, Shenzhen has opened up about 145 kilometers of road mileage for testing, and a total of 93 road test and demonstration application notices have been issued, of which 23 are manned demonstration application notices.

At the same time, Mawan Smart Port invested 38 unmanned container trucks to achieve autonomous driving operations and create the world's first 5G+ autonomous driving large-scale application port. Nanshan, Futian, Pingshan and other areas have also carried out pilot work such as autonomous driving cars, minibuses, and delivery cars, with rich application scenarios and diverse types.

Since 2018, the Shenzhen Transportation Bureau, together with the Municipal Development and Reform, the Municipal Industry and Information Technology, and the Municipal Public Security Traffic Police, has formed a joint group for road testing of intelligent and connected vehicles, and has been promoting the development of road testing and application agglomeration of intelligent networked vehicles.

In 2020, the "Guiding Opinions of Shenzhen Municipality on Promoting the Application Demonstration of Intelligent Connected Vehicles" was issued to support the diversified road test needs of intelligent and connected vehicles, and to carry out the application demonstration of intelligent connected vehicles in the fields of manned, cargo, and urban sanitation.

At the end of 2021, the new version of the "Shenzhen Intelligent Connected Vehicle Road Test and Demonstration Application Management Implementation Rules" has also been officially released for comments, and is expected to be issued in the first half of 2022, and more scenarios such as unmanned testing and commercialization pilot exploration will be launched soon, encouraging and supporting the innovative development of enterprises.

Citizens will have more opportunities to experience autonomous driving

In fact, in 2022, the development of Shenzhen's intelligent and connected vehicles will not only be the implementation rules. Shenzhen transportation, development and reform, industry and information technology and other departments have been planning important measures and important plans, injecting new momentum into the development of Shenzhen's intelligent networked automobile industry cluster, and there are more worth looking forward to.

First, the number of test road miles, tests and application demonstrations will be fully expanded, and it is expected that the two indicators will achieve 100% growth, and the public will have more opportunities to contact and experience autonomous driving. Second, Pingshan District and other regions are promoting global opening-up, accelerating the demonstration of various application scenarios in the region, and promoting commercial exploration. On the basis of becoming a pilot zone for the national vehicle networking in 2021, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved Shenzhen to become a "double wisdom" pilot city for the coordinated development of smart city infrastructure and intelligent network vehicles, and the two projects in Shenzhen organized by the Ministry of Transport for the pilot application of autonomous driving have also passed the preliminary review. Fourth, the country's first intelligent and connected vehicle management regulations "Shenzhen Special Economic Zone Intelligent Connected Vehicle Management Regulations (Draft for Comments)", which is completed in 2021, is expected to be promulgated in 2022, providing regulatory dividends for Shenzhen to take the lead in commercialization and accelerate industrial agglomeration.
