On February 19, BYD Yuan PLUS was officially launched, launching a total of 5 models, the official guidance price was 131,800-15.98 million yuan, and launched five exclusive benefits. The new car is the first pure electric SUV model of BYD's e platform 3.0, positioned as a compact SUV. At the same time, as BYD's first "strategic overseas" global passenger car, the yuan PLUS will be renamed as atto 3 and open pre-sale in the Australian market.
In terms of appearance, BYD Yuan PLUS adopts the Dragon Face 3.0 family design language, using a closed air intake grille with sharp, led headlights with sharp shape, three pinnate light strips in the light group set off a sense of fashion, and the chrome trim strip on the front face uses the seal body "Yuan" character logo, making the front face very recognizable.
The side lines of the body are smooth and delicate, a waist line runs through the body, and the excellent streamlined shape makes the wind resistance of the new car reach 0.29cd. The "dragon scale" relief on the C pillar makes the new car a great design highlight. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4455*1875*1615mm, and the wheelbase is 2720mm. At the same time, the new car provides five body colors of surf blue, ski white, climbing gray, adventure green and parkour red.
In the design of the tail, BYD Yuan PLUS adopts a penetrating tail lamp design, the shape is simple and smooth, but also stretches the width of the viewing angle, and the pinnate design is adopted in the lamp cavity, which is more recognizable after lighting. A slightly raised spoiler is provided above the tail to make the tail look more layered and also enhance the sense of movement.
The interior was designed by Mikhail Paganetti, BYD's chief interior design director, and is the first smart cockpit built with a rhythmic concept, inspired by the hormonal gym, such as the wind-tuned air outlet designed by barbells, the door handle of the gripper style, the string-style door panel decoration, etc. The exquisite design of the details makes the interior of the MetaPLUS very personal.
The MetaPLUS flagship version is equipped with a 15.6-inch (the rest is configured as 12.8 inches) central control screen, built-in new DiLink 4.0 intelligent network system, and carries functions such as intelligent speech recognition, NFC mobile phone key, remote control vehicle and smart APP remote control driving. It is also possible to synchronize songs and videos that have not been closed on the mobile phone to the large screen of the DiLink intelligent network connection system through account authorization.
