IT Home News on February 18, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has now released the "App Notice on Infringement of User Rights and Interests (2022 Batch 1, Total 21st Batch)".

IT Home learned that the more well-known applications in the list include Xiaomi Live, Dragon Ball Live, Zhonggong Education, Film and Television Encyclopedia, Juguandian, Shangri-La, Super 8 Hotel, Ginza Hotel, Hi Stay Rental, NetEase Seven Fish SDK, iFLYTEK Speech Recognition SDK, 4399 Stand-alone Payment SDK, Gionee Stand-alone SDK, Baidu Positioning SDK, etc.

In accordance with the "Personal Information Protection Law", "Cybersecurity Law", "Telecommunications Regulations", "Telecommunications and Internet Users Personal Information Protection Regulations" and other laws and regulations, our ministry recently organized a third-party testing agency to inspect mobile Internet applications (Apps), as of now, there are still 107 Apps that have not been rectified. At the same time, during the testing process, it was found that 13 embedded third-party software development kits (SDKs) illegally collected user device information.

The above apps and SDKs should be rectified by February 25. If the rectification is not made within the time limit, our department will organize and carry out relevant disposal work in accordance with laws and regulations.
