The current Yinglang, in fact, can be said to be the third generation of models, older people may remember the old Yinglang, that car is much more advanced than the current Yinglang.
The prototype of the first generation of Yinglang is the fourth generation of Opel Alt, which is positioned as a mid-level car, which was first put into production in China in 2009, and was launched with a hatchback version of the Yinglang XT and a sedan version of the Yinglang GT. It is equipped with three engines: 1.6L, 1.8L and 1.6T.

In terms of powertrain, whether it is a 1.5 four-cylinder self-priming engine or a 1.3T three-cylinder engine, with a combination of 6AT gearboxes, the cost is not too high, and the 1.5 self-priming engine codenamed L2B is not too high. The technology is very mature, Baojun 730, Wuling Rongguang and other models are equipped with this engine, the installed capacity is very large, the cost is also very low. The 1.3T three-cylinder engine, which is lower than the four-cylinder engine in terms of manufacturing cost, can continue to dilute the cost as the installed capacity increases.
In terms of materials, the front McPherson and the rear multi-link suspension used by Yinglang are very conventional configurations, especially the rear suspension is a relatively cheap "chopstick suspension", and the shock absorption system adopts the rear suspension suspension cylinder of the reed cylinder integrated structure, and the cost is not too high. However, Yinglang uses an aluminum alloy ram's horn, which is still a little more conscientious than the previous Kaiyue.
In terms of configuration, Yinglang is not high, and the same level of domestic cars are far behind, low-end no reversing radar, no reversing image, the whole series is a plastic steering wheel, handbrake and manual air conditioning, the whole series has no key to enter and keyless start.
