When menstruation comes, will it necessarily ovulate?

Normal menstruation

Estrogen is secreted before ovulation and progesterone and estrogen are secreted after ovulation. It is precisely under the action of these two hormones that the endometrium of women undergoes changes in the proliferative and secretory periods. Once hormone levels drop, the endometrium loses hormonal support, it will necrosis, shedding, menstruation, which is normal ovulatory menstruation.

Anovulatory menstruation

The ovaries only secrete estrogen, not progesterone, so the endometrium only changes during the hyperplasia period. When estrogen drops to a certain level, the endometrium falls off, and women also have menstruation. This is called non-ovulation, and the great aunt still comes!

Ovarian dysfunction

Common is premature ovarian failure, in which women have menopause before they reach the age of 40. Patients have normal early menstruation and even a history of fertility, but then menstruation is sparse until complete amenorrhea. In these patients, the follicles in the ovaries may have been depleted or there are primitive follicles that do not respond to gonadotropins.

Hypothalamic dysfunction

Gonadotropin-releasing hormone is reduced due to abnormal input signals from the hypothalamus. Emotional factors such as nervousness, anxiety, and stress can lead to endocrine disorders; serious systemic wasting diseases or malnutrition can also cause anovulation and amenorrhea.

Other diseases

Unruptured follicle flavinyl syndrome, severe malnutrition, bad mood, hyperthyroidism and other diseases can cause nonovulation.
