Zhong Qinli, year of birth and death unknown, was a native of Jishan and Shangyu, Zhejiang. Painting landscapes with thick brushes, horizontal scraping and external strength, learning to wear and then changing. During the years of Chenghua and Hongzhi, he entered the Naojinji Hall and was a top master among the painters of the Inner Court.
