At present, the scale of the county's ceramic industry cluster reached 57.7 billion yuan, with more than 4,500 ceramic enterprises, more than 100,000 employees, is the country's largest ceramic handicrafts production and export base, ceramic tea sets, flower pot production base, white porcelain industry cluster was selected as a national small and medium-sized enterprise characteristic industrial cluster, as the only county in Fujian Province included in the national regional (city) industry business card building plan of the first batch of pilots, Dehua white porcelain was selected as Fujian cultural identity.
The meeting also commended a number of excellent base colleges and universities of Chinese arts and crafts, and Quanzhou Academy of Arts and Crafts was on the list.
