Therefore, many elderly people who persuade young people to have a second child will use the pension as a reason and excuse, and a child will face huge pension pressure in the future.
Having only one child, will the pressure really be great in the future? In fact, the truth is not necessarily so! Why? There are three main reasons.
1. Only children enjoy better resources

2. Parents can accept nursing homes
Not many people in our parents' generation can accept the idea of living in a nursing home, especially the elderly from rural areas. There is a neighbor in the hometown, the family has two sons, the eldest is around the parents, the second is in the field, the two sons negotiate each family to manage the parents for a month, every time it is the turn of the second, the second let the parents live in the nursing home, because the work is busy, and busy taking care of the grandchildren. But the parents were reluctant because they lived in a nursing home and sued the second eldest in court.
But now people are generally open-minded and accept more new things, and most of our generation can accept the idea of living in a nursing home.
So in fact, even if only one child is born, the elderly can accept the idea of living in a nursing home, and the pressure on young people is actually not so great.
3. Parents have a sense of old-age care
Only workers in our parents' generation have pensions, and rural people basically rely on meager savings and savings, while our parents' generation just caught up with the pressure of old-age care, did not have much savings, and caught up with the era of expensive medical care and difficult medical treatment.
But our generation will do a good job of pension planning in advance, prepare the money for the pension in advance, so that the pressure of young people's pension is not so great.
In the past, people always thought that the pension should rely on children, especially the generation of parents, who would say "raising children to prevent the elderly", and there would also be such a statement as "the elderly are here, not far away". But now people are generally open-minded, and many people agree with this view: we have children only to enjoy the process of raising children, not to keep children around.
I still agree with the view that women must have children because they want to have children and enjoy the process of having children, not because of old age, not because of persuasion from others.
