The owner and wife are a young college teacher, the two people have common hobbies and pursuits, and the decoration of the whole house also incorporates some ideas from the couple. The biggest hobby of the two of them is reading, so the decoration design also incorporates a lot of book-related elements, coupled with the decoration of the local space, the sense of luxury comes out at once.
Floor Type Analysis//
The whole house covers an area of about 90 square meters, which is a two-bedroom apartment type, and the age of the house is relatively old. Like many older houses, this house does not have a separate living room and dining room, and there is only one bathroom in the house. The advantages are also more obvious, the house is north-south oriented, lighting and ventilation are better, and the south direction also has a large balcony.

There was originally no entrance to the house, and the living room could be seen when the door was opened, which was less private. In order to solve the entire defect, the designer borrowed part of the living room area and used a metallic screen to separate the space of the entrance, so that the line of sight after the entrance was buffered and blocked to a certain extent.

Living room
The design of the living room is very distinctive, breaking the traditional layout pattern with the TV as the core and adding the function of the study. The designer removed the non-load-bearing wall between the master bedroom and the living room and replaced it with a white-framed glass window, which not only improved the visual space of the living room, but also allowed the master bedroom and the living room to share lighting.
The interior window pushes inward toward the bedroom, leaving room just for a custom desk and bookcase. The right side of the desk is connected to the load-bearing column, which not only reduces the abruptness caused by the load-bearing column, but also improves the overall aesthetics. The bookcase is an open plan design located under the desk, providing easy access to books for homeowners.
The industrial wind wall lamp is installed on the load-bearing column, which can change the direction of lighting at will, perfectly replacing the function of the desk lamp, and can release more desk space.

The interior window is close to the part of the master bedroom, and a white gauze curtain is installed, and if there are relatives and friends who usually come to the house as guests, the owner can pull up the white gauze curtain, taking into account the lighting and the privacy of the bedroom.
The current TV background wall is based on the load-bearing column, adding a bevel shape. In this way, even if the TV is not in the center of the living room, it can give the person sitting on the sofa the best viewing angle. Under the TV, an alcove cabinet compartment was added, which replaced the function of the TV cabinet and was used with a storage box to easily store the miscellaneous items in the living room.
The retro brown plush sofa is placed against the wall, which forms a sharp visual contrast with the hard decoration, and its own warmth and heaviness also promote the overall balance of the interior. Like most old houses, this house originally did not have a separate restaurant, but fortunately the balcony was large enough, so the designer planned the restaurant to the balcony. Almost all the friends who have come to the owner's house have praised the design of the restaurant, and its appearance is comparable to that of a high-end restaurant.

The restaurant has large L-shaped windows, and the ceiling also has a skylight, which is very open to the view. Along one side of the window, the designer built a cement high platform, which was used to plant lush greenery, super beautiful! The log-colored booths and white bar counters not only harmonize colors, but also enhance the functionality of the restaurant. It is worth mentioning that the space under the card seat has been made into an open bookcase by the designer, which is beautiful and practical.
kitchen
The kitchen is semi-open designed, and the right-hand side of the entrance is customized with a countertop, visually ensuring the independence of the kitchen. The kitchen bar counter is made of marble, with a concave multi-layered arched finish on the surface, and a wooden pier stool to form a small shoe changing area.

The hard-fitting color of the master bedroom is the same as that of the living room, but in the choice of soft furnishings, a darker walnut wood is used to darken the overall tone to create a relaxed and relaxing atmosphere. Originally, the master bedroom had an inner bay window, which was demolished by the designers, expanding the use space of the master bedroom.

The dresser on the right side of the bedside is also a retro style, and the combination of walnut and metal handles is particularly delicate and high-end.
