Jiwei network news (text / Zhang Zijie) on February 11, Zhiguang Electric said on the investor platform that Zhiguang storage energy storage has been put into operation in Guangzhou in 2021 on the demand side of new energy vehicle charging stations, the energy storage system can carry out energy storage peak shaving and valley filling, demand response, the selection of a single capacity of 120Ah lithium iron phosphate battery, the design charge and discharge power of 250kW, the storage of 500kWh, when the electricity price is in the valley and peacetime storage, when the electricity price is at peak discharge.

Zhiguang Electric said that according to the peak and valley period of Guangzhou, it can achieve two charge and discharge operations per day, which not only realizes the role of "peak shaving and valley filling", but also can participate in demand-side response, reduce the peak load of the power grid, which is conducive to the safe operation of the power grid and produces better economic and social benefits. The project can realize two different operating modes of grid connection and off-grid, which has a good demonstration and promotion in the charging station industry, and has good social benefits.

Zhiguang Electric said that the high-voltage cascaded technology promoted by Zhiguang Energy Storage has the following characteristics and advantages: First of all, Zhiguang energy storage high-voltage cascade technology is a technical route to improve the safety of large-scale battery cell combination application through the innovation of power electronic topology, and the current high-voltage cascade products of Zhiguang have a direct access voltage of 6~ 35kV grade optional, and the grid-connected power/capacity of the energy storage stand-alone machine can reach 25MW/50MWh. Specifically, the core problem to be solved by the energy storage system is how to achieve the combined application of large-scale batteries, this technical route cleverly disassembles the battery clusters that originally need to be connected in parallel from the DC side, and discretizes the battery clusters to run independently, so that each battery cluster is understood and coupled, and the battery clusters will not affect each other. When a battery has a problem, there will be no accident in which the remaining battery cluster increases the discharge energy of the battery circuit, and the system safety is high;

Secondly, this design idea is that because each battery cluster runs independently, the output current of the series cell in each battery cluster is strictly controlled at the rated current and below, and the operating current of each battery cluster can be automatically balanced and consistent, and it will not be like the battery cluster running in parallel when the battery cluster exists in parallel the operation of some battery over-rate operation, the consistency of the battery cluster operation can be guaranteed, so that the overall life of the entire energy storage battery system can be improved, and there is no situation where the life of the energy storage battery stack system is lower than that of a single cell. It is conducive to enhancing the whole life cycle value of energy storage systems and creating greater value for customers. In addition, due to the consistency management, the initial installed capacity of the battery can also be greatly reduced, saving the initial investment for customers;

Finally, due to the unique power electronic topology, the high voltage is directly connected to the power grid, and the transformerless step-up link is realized, which reduces the energy consumption, so the cycle efficiency is high, and the operation of multiple sites actually shows that the overall cycle efficiency of the system can reach more than 90%. Judging from the effects of multiple high-voltage cascaded energy storage power stations that have actually been operated at present, the overall operation of cascaded energy storage is stable, and the balance of battery clusters is excellent. The energy storage system of the technical route, in the case of no battery and battery cluster parallel connection, can achieve a single machine 25MW/50MWh level, only 4 sets of energy storage parallel can achieve the needs of 100MW level energy storage power station, secondary control is very simple, eliminating a large number of secondary coordination, communication system, to achieve the safety of the energy storage system and large capacity combination, has a better advantage in the construction of large capacity energy storage power station.
