  On May 17, at the 13th Science and Technology Conference of Guoxuan Hi-Tech, the company released three new products in a row, namely the 5C ultra-fast charging "G-Engraved Battery" with a charging capacity of 80% in 9.8 minutes, the high-nickel ternary 46 series large cylindrical "Xingchen Battery" with 4C fast charging, and the "Jinshi Battery" based on all-solid-state battery technology with an energy density of 350Wh/kg.

  The essence of endurance anxiety is still energy replenishment anxiety. This is also why after the battery life problem is solved, energy replenishment has become a technical pain point that the industry has begun to focus on.

  According to Cao Yong, vice president of Guoxuan Hi-Tech Industrial Research Institute, the success of the research and development of Gotion Hi-Tech high-power and ultra-fast charging G-engraved batteries is mainly due to the company's breakthroughs in materials and full-stack self-developed battery cell technology.

  Among them, at the material level, G-Tick battery applies technologies such as multi-dimensional optimized cathode materials, gradient structure anode materials, low-viscosity composite electrolytes, and ultra-thin composite coating separators.

  Specifically, the cathode material adopts high-entropy doping + gradient coating technology to achieve iron-lithium compaction of 2.65g/cc and ternary material voltage of 4.45V, with high compaction, high voltage, high stability, low impedance and other properties.

  According to reports, the negative electrode adopts multivariate graphite, gradient porosity and multi-dimensional superconducting network, the binder distribution is increased by 80%, the peeling strength is increased by 50%, the resistivity of the electrode piece is reduced by 30%, and the peak charging power of 5C is obtained.

  The diaphragm adopts liquid-locking moisturizing and bone forging toughening technology, and the liquid absorption capacity is increased by 150%.

  The electrolyte is made of a low-binding composite solvent and ultra-thin and high-strength SEI.

  In terms of structural design, G-Engraved battery adopts composite terminals and minimalist design.

  According to public information, the battery pack products equipped with G-engraved battery cells have a number of innovative designs and safety applications, realizing a 1.3m * 2.0m super-large module-free design, which reduces the number of components by 30%; The Z-direction ultra-thin design of the system can be adapted to coupes, SUVs and other models, and the direct connection BMS+FDC design reduces the wiring harness by 80%; Through the design of nano heat insulation and ceramic composite insulation, "0" thermal diffusion between cells is realized.

  At the same time, with the self-developed 1000V electrical architecture and ASIL D software and hardware platform of Gotion Hi-Tech, together with the company's self-developed Gotion Care+ cloud monitoring platform, it effectively realizes the balance between fast charging and safety.

46 large cylindrical battery new products: high nickel ternary Xingchen battery

  In terms of cylindrical batteries, Gotion Hi-Tech released a new generation of 4695 cylindrical batteries - Xingchen batteries.

  Cheng Qian, President of Gotion Hi-Tech's Asia-Pacific Business and President of the International Engineering Research Institute, said at the press conference that the new generation of Xingchen battery is Gotion Hi-Tech's latest ternary system 46 cylindrical products, which have high energy density, long cycle life, and can achieve 4C fast charging. It will be produced at Gotion Hi-Tech's seventh-generation plant.

  According to reports, the new generation of Xingchen battery uses the second-generation silicon carbon material and ultra-fast electrolyte self-developed by Guoxuan Hi-Tech, and adopts gradient electrodes and new structural parts in the design to achieve high energy density and fast charging of the cell. Its mass energy density is up to 285Wh/kg, the volume energy density is up to 775Wh/L, and it can be cycled at room temperature for 2500 times to maintain 70% health.

  In terms of fast charging, 4C fast charging can be applied, which can achieve energy replenishment from 10% to 70% within 9 minutes.

  At the level of Xingchen battery manufacturing, according to Cheng Qian, at present, the seventh-generation factory of Guoxuan Hi-Tech has achieved um-level precision production, which is at the highest level in the industry; The production failure rate is strictly controlled at the ppb level, and the COV is reduced by 50%. Through automated production, the labor cost per GWh has been reduced by 37.5%; In addition, Gotion Hi-Tech has been vertically integrated and recycled on the material side for many years, and finally achieved a 50% reduction in manufacturing costs.

All-solid-state batteries with an energy density of up to 350Wh/kg

  Since the beginning of this year, the R&D and industrialization of all-solid-state battery technology have received extensive attention from the industry, and leading companies have successively announced their respective all-solid-state battery technology reserves and industrialization schedules.

  At this science and technology conference, Gotion Hi-Tech released a new product of all-solid-state battery technology - Jinshi battery.

  According to Pan Ruijun, chief engineer of the all-solid-state battery project of Gotion Hi-Tech, the Gotion Hi-Tech team has achieved a technological breakthrough in the material end of the all-solid-state battery through micro-nano solid electrolyte, ultra-thin film coated single crystal cathode and three-dimensional mesoporous silicon anode.

  According to its public information, the current Guoxuan Hi-Tech 30Ah all-solid-state battery cell can achieve a mass energy density of 350Wh/kg and a volume energy density of 800Wh/L, which is 40% higher than the current mainstream ternary lithium battery in the industry, and the number of cell cycles can reach 3,000 times.

  At the safety level, at present, Jinshi battery has passed the 200-degree hot box test at one time, and the safety exceeds the national standard requirements.

  In addition, the battery system based on Goldstone battery has a mass formation rate of 80% and a system energy density of 280Wh/kg.

  The manufacturing process of solid-state batteries has always been a difficult problem for the industry. Pan Ruijun shared the breakthrough progress of Gotion Hi-Tech in manufacturing processes such as micro-nano electrolyte dispersion technology, electrolyte membrane transfer technology, innovative lamination technology and cell densification technology, and said that Gotion Hi-Tech has completed a breakthrough in the manufacturing of mold batteries to automotive-grade battery cells, and realized the innovation of solid-state batteries from 0 to 1.
