It is reported that in January this year, SAIC Motor's automobile production was 467,800 units, an increase of 8.71% year-on-year; January sales were 455,600 units, an increase of 13.02% year-on-year; of which, the output of new energy vehicles was 78,000 units, an increase of 29.11%; and the sales of new energy vehicles were 72,200 units, an increase of 25.54% year-on-year. In 2021, SAIC Motor produced 5473493 vehicles in the whole year, an increase of 0.17% year-on-year; and sold 5,463,500 new vehicles in the whole year, a decrease of 2.45% year-on-year. In addition, SAIC's passenger car new energy models will sell 161,000 units in 2021, an increase of 107% year-on-year, with a penetration rate of more than 20%, ranking among the top five in the domestic market, ranking among the top six in the world, and being in the first camp both globally and domestically.
