Automatic driving is an important digital infrastructure, Beijing high-level automatic driving demonstration area has completed the construction of intelligent network infrastructure with a total length of 12.1 kilometers of urban roads + 10 kilometers of highways, and innovated the first "multi-pole integration, multi-sensor integration, multi-box integration" intelligent network standardized intersection construction scheme in China.
At the same time of construction, Beijing has simultaneously explored new business models for autonomous driving, and has set up two specialized platform companies, Yizhuang Digital Infrastructure and Beijing Auto Network, to comprehensively reduce the comprehensive construction costs, and the unmanned distribution scenario has realized the actual operation of fresh distribution and express delivery, and is gradually expanding the scope of application.

The construction of the 2.0 phase of the Beijing High-level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone focuses on the 60 square kilometers of the core area of the Economic Development Zone and a total of 305 intersections to achieve full coverage of intelligent and networked road infrastructure, providing vehicle-road cloud integration technology research and development and function verification scenarios for high-level automatic driving test vehicles and networked mass production vehicles. A higher level of autonomous driving demonstration area 3.0 will also start construction within this year.
At present, Beijing is accelerating the construction of a standard system, exploring the formation of technical standards in automotive technology, roadside facilities, cloud control basic platforms, private communication networks, basic maps, security management, etc., and further summarizing and sorting out the "Beijing model" for the formation of city-level applications of intelligent networked vehicles.
