The 18.8-kilometer road in the test site gathers real driving scenes such as bridges, tunnels, high-speed ring roads, and urban roads, and there are a number of sensing equipment that are not easy to find in the area, and the on-site workers are busy debugging facilities and equipment, and the entire road is no different from the real road outside.
"There are 9 major functional areas and 266 test scenarios, including special weather simulation workshops such as real tunnels, bridges, rain, snow and fog, which can realize the testing of intelligent networked vehicles in special weather environments." The owner unit of the project is the Automobile Industry Development Bureau of Chengdu Economic and Technological Development Zone, and the owner unit of the construction is the Industrial Investment Company of Jingkai Production and Investment Group. The test site project officially started construction on January 11 last year, mainly including civil engineering and information construction two parts, since the start of construction of the entire project has been smoothly advanced, the current civil engineering has been completed, information construction is undergoing system commissioning, this month will be as scheduled to achieve trial operation.

According to Luo Jianye, the planning and exhibition center project officially started construction in July 2020, the project is one of the first batch of high-quality science and technology innovation space demonstration projects in Chengdu Economic Development Zone (Longquanyi District), which will create a high-quality science and technology innovation space integrating R&D office, industrial manufacturing, headquarters settlement and other functions by implanting intelligent networked automobile industry, automotive electronics, artificial intelligence, and 5G related innovation resources, of which the planning display center is positioned as an international high-level display center. With a total construction area of more than 40,000 square meters, it is equipped with multi-functional conference halls, conference receptions, business hotels and supporting rooms.
According to the plan, the total construction area of the intelligent network innovation center is about 750,000 square meters, the total investment of the project is about 6.3 billion yuan, which is divided into three phases of construction, of which the first phase of the project is the start-up area, the planning and construction includes the planning and exhibition center, Siemens general manager park, hotel apartments, etc., the second phase of the project is the development area, will build an artificial intelligence industrial park, Internet research and development center, 5G research and development technology information park, etc., the third phase of the project is a perfect area, expand the construction of industrial extension area, automotive technology center, intelligent network vehicle research and development incubation area, Automotive Electronics Industrial Park, etc.
