Ken: What do the auto industry associations usually do?
Lei Yuening: There are a lot of things to do, and there are ten people in our association full-time, and they are very busy every day. The first is to be a bridge between the government and corporate members, the government needs local data, to do industry statistics, analysis, and policy implementation, research, all need the assistance of our association. However, our automobile market still has to keep up with the international situation and national policies, and now it is to encourage the development of new energy vehicles. Pan Guoguang: The current trend is new energy vehicles, but in terms of durability and convenience, fuel vehicles are better. But the preservation of value is completely different. Used for three years of second-hand new energy vehicles, if it is a miscellaneous brand, it can only sell 1.5% off, or even can not sell money. If it is non-miscellaneous, it is about 2.5% off. We have a lot of second-hand new energy vehicles piled up in our warehouse, and some of them are not wanted for free delivery. Of course, this is an electric car from a few years ago, and the depreciation of electric vehicles is not as strong as before.
Ken: How do car dealers meet "thorny head" customers?
Liao Jianhua: First of all, it must be the customer for God! Admit it first! Wait for the customer's mood to calm down, and then slowly reason. If the other party still does not complain everywhere, the dealer will have to find the association to solve it.
Pan Guoguang: The number of complaints about used cars is much less than that of new cars... However, if you really encounter such a thing, no matter what, first of all, it is the dealer's fault, and then you must give in and send customers benefits such as maintenance. (Ken: What if the customer insists on returning the car?) There is a rule in the industry that the same part of the same car cannot be repaired multiple times to solve the problem before it can be returned. If it's not a big problem, dealers can solve it.
