On February 26th, the first "South China Sea Lion Group Birthday" activity was held in Xiqiao Tingyin Lake Feihong Hall, the scene of the lion group parade, group ceremony, blessing and spring min attracted a large number of citizens, and the first twelve lions of the "South Sea Lion Group" were also officially unveiled.
The event was hosted by the Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports of Nanhai District, Foshan City, and provided academic guidance from the Institute of Cultural and Creative Development of Tsinghua University. In the noisy sky of gongs and drums, 12 lions in groups and high-spirited participating lion teams formed a parade team with distinctive characteristics of the South China Sea, changing into a "wake" character formation.

At the group formation ceremony, the tradition of "new lion dotting" was inherited, and the ceremony was led by Li Nianzhong, the inheritor of the Guangdong awakening lion of the national intangible cultural heritage project, and the on-site leaders and guests jointly completed the finishing ceremony.

"On the basis of the comprehensive census of lions, we excavated from the more than 2,700 existing lion teams in the whole region and formed twelve representative, inherited and innovative lions into the 'South China Sea Lion Regiment'." Liang Huiyan, executive deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Nanhai District Cpc Committee and director of the District Culture, Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau, said.
