The UK antitrust regulator, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), said today that the Code of Conduct for The Supply of Groceries (GSCP) is now mandatory due to the increasing activity of #Amazon in the UK grocery industry. The UK's Code of Conduct for The Supply of Groceries applies to retailers whose grocery business has an annual turnover of more than £1 billion (US$1.4 billion). Amazon has not released sales figures for its UK grocery business, but the CMA's decision means its sales have exceeded the £1 billion threshold.
