Samsung has finally unveiled the Galaxy S22 series, which is expected to be one of the best flagship phones of 2022, offering stunning designs, incredible cameras, and more.

The flagship phone of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series is finally here, and here's everything you need to know.
Samsung Galaxy S22 series design
The first thing to note about in the Galaxy S22 series is their design, and if you've seen the Galaxy S21, you'll immediately recognize the Galaxy S22. The Galaxy S22 and S22+ retain a smooth camera module that blends into the frame around the edges. What's more, they retain the punched cuts of the front camera.
There are some differences in design from the Galaxy S21 series, the Galaxy S22 is a bit boxy and slightly flat on the sides. It's nice to see that the back of the phone is glass instead of plastic, but that's not a huge difference.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra, on the other hand, is completely different, and it's basically a Galaxy Note. Samsung seems to have completely moved away from the Note series and instead offered a Note-style phone as the Galaxy S22 Ultra device.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra looks a lot like the Galaxy Note 10, but eliminates the camera module and instead offers 5 camera rings (four cameras and a flash) on the back. It's not a bad-looking phone, but it definitely looks different from other Galaxy S22 models.

Under the hood, the phones have also been upgraded, both offering Qualcomm's latest processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, plus 8GB of RAM from the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ models, and 8GB, 12GB or 16GB of RAM from the Galaxy S22 Ultra model
Compared to previous phones, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 may have slightly better performance than the Snapdragon 888, but it may not be groundbreaking.
What about storage? The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ offer 128GB or 256GB of storage, while the Galaxy S22 Ultra offers 128GB, 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage options.
The phone's battery life should also be relatively good, the Galaxy S22 has a battery capacity of 3700mAh, the Galaxy S22+ has a battery capacity of up to 4500mAh, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra has a battery capacity of 5000mAh.
Samsung Galaxy S22 series cameras
Perhaps the biggest upgrade to the Galaxy S22 is the camera, thanks in large part to the new 50MP pixel ISOCELL GN5 sensor. Here's the new main camera on the Galaxy S22, which offers the new Dual Pixel Pro technology, which allows it to focus instantly and take better nighttime photos.
The new 50MP camera comes with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle and 10MP telephoto camera that offers a 3x optical zoom, as well as up to 30x Samsung's so-called super-resolution zoom.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra doesn't offer any new cameras, but it still takes great photos, and the device has a 108MP main camera + 12MP ultra-wide angle + 10MP telephoto camera.
Samsung Galaxy S22 series displays
The displays of the Galaxy S22 series are very high-end, and all phones support HDR10+, with a 120Hz refresh rate and punch cuts for the front camera. The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ have a screen resolution of 1080p, while the Galaxy S22 Ultra has a resolution of up to 1440p.
The display sizes are also slightly different, with the standard Galaxy S22 having a display of 6.1 inches, while the Galaxy S22+ has a display of 6.6 inches, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra has a screen size of 6.8 inches.
Samsung says the phones offer a new so-called "Vision Booster" that maintains clarity and color saturation even in brighter environments. The Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra have a peak brightness of 1750 nits, while the standard version of the Galaxy S22 has a peak brightness of 1300 nits.

According to Samsung's official website, the Galaxy S22 starts at 5499 yuan, the Galaxy S22+ starts at 7899 yuan, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra starts at 10199 yuan. So, which of these three S22 models would you choose?
