At present, Samsung, like Apple and other manufacturers, already has the Exynos series of chips using self-developed technology. Moreover, these chips have been successfully applied to the Galaxy series of devices. However, the Exynos series of chips was not developed by the mobile business unit, so Samsung Mobile cannot participate in the functional level and cannot optimize the smartphone experience accordingly.
According to other sources, Samsung's self-developed Exynos 2200 processor is also slightly behind the new Snapdragon 8 mobile platform in terms of performance. In response to these problems, Samsung Mobile's business unit decided to develop this processor tailored specifically for the Galaxy family of products.
