Build the country's first unified medical payment platform covering digital currency

In June 2021, the "Shanghai "Convenient Medical Service" Digital Transformation Work Plan" was issued, which is known as the 1.0 version of the digital transformation of the city's "convenient medical service". The seven major scenarios included in the version lay a solid foundation for the "on-line" of the 2.0 version, and it is worth mentioning that among them, the medical payment "one thing" as the highest number of medical cases in the city in 2021 is "one thing", which greatly facilitates the medical masses, according to this foundation, this year's digital transformation of the city will further deepen the medical payment "one thing".

Specifically, the "one thing" of medical payment will further strengthen the scenario drive, upgrade the "one thing" column of "medical payment with the application", upgrade the online services settled by medical institutions at all levels by expanding and converging high-frequency medical service access, and create a medical and health column with more complete service coverage, stronger initiative and better experience.

In terms of channels, the "one thing" of medical payment will be fully opened based on credit-based non-sense payment services in channels such as self-service machines, doctors' consultation rooms, manual windows and public accounts in medical institutions, and offline channels can realize the real-time settlement of medical insurance parts of medical expenses and the default payment of self-payment by binding credit accounts through scanning codes and medical insurance electronic vouchers. The number of people using credit-free payment aims to account for 5% of the total number of outpatient medical payments by the end of 2022.

The city will also further promote the model innovation of "one thing" of medical payment, promote the sensorless payment model based on prior authorization, advance the time of patient confirmation from the doctor's consultation room to the appointment registration or service opening link, and modify the confirmation method from offline scanning code in the event to online authorization in advance. Qualified medical institutions can also pilot a post-doctoral payment model based on quota locking, and further delay the time point of credit advance from the diagnosis to the post-diagnosis.

All this means that new models of medical treatment, such as "see a doctor first, pay later" and "zero queuing for medical treatment", are about to come out, and the order of medical treatment reshaped by digital technology makes it more convenient and more humane to see a doctor.

It is reported that the city's medical payment "one thing" will also add digital currency payment channels, relying on the support of the "One Netcom Office" platform, with the "with the application" mobile terminal as a service channel, with the digital yuan as the scene to expand the incision, further enrich the masses of medical payment methods, actively respond to the national policy of steadily promoting the research and development of digital currency, and help Shanghai build the country's first unified medical payment platform covering digital currency.
