During the Spring Festival, we will take the opportunity of college students returning to their hometowns to earnestly raise their awareness of preventing fraud among college students returning to their hometowns. From February 3 to 6, the Mengtong Police Station of the Changning County Public Security Bureau successively carried out anti-fraud publicity activities for returned college students in 9 villages and communities under its jurisdiction, with more than 400 people being publicized and educated, and more than 100 people newly installed the App of the National Anti-Fraud Center, basically achieving full coverage of returned college students, and further improving the anti-fraud publicity effect by taking the lead from point to point.
During the activities, the Mengtong police station carried out centralized publicity activities for college students in each village under its jurisdiction, and the police introduced the characteristics and essence of new telecommunications network fraud, popularized the relevant anti-fraud knowledge related to online shopping, impersonation of customer service, part-time brushing, and network loan fraud that are closely linked to college students, explained real cases, interpreted the law with cases, and used vivid cases to reveal the tricks of fraudsters, and at the same time, put forward targeted preventive measures. The police also took this opportunity to brief the returning college students in the jurisdiction of the "broken card" operation carried out by the Ministry of Public Security, and gave a detailed explanation of the use and prevention knowledge of bank cards and telephone cards, so as to avoid the occurrence of the situation that the college students mistakenly touched the crime of "helping network information criminal activities" because they were not deeply involved in the world.
Through this activity, the university students who participated in the activity had a new understanding of telecommunications network fraud, and said that they had gained a lot from participating in the activity, which not only improved the awareness of fraud prevention, but also effectively avoided being used by lawbreakers.
