This "Baqiao Wind and Snow Map" is an ink and paper stroke created by Shen Zhou in the Ming Dynasty. The whole mountain is covered with snow and vast. This work is gentle and elegant, the pen and ink are thrifty, the composition is peaceful and generous, and it is a masterpiece of Shen Zhou's rough strokes.
Part of "Baqiao Wind and Snow Map"
"Baqiao Wind and Snow" is one of the eight scenic spots of ancient Chang'an, which is described by ancient poets, and Shen Zhou's work is based on the poetry of the ancients. The picture depicts the calm bahe river flowing slowly from a distant mountain stream, and on the foot platform of the river on the slope of the river, several thin cold trees stand on the rope, and the branches and leaves tremble in the cold air. Giant peaks sandwich the river, deep ravines, mountains and rocks are stacked, and distant peaks stand like screens. The winter trees on the mountain are shrunken and the winter moss is planted everywhere.
This painting is self-titled: Bashang donkey back snow, drunk poems by the bridge. The anointing of the gold tent is never known.
