He had already made an appointment to hold a video conference with colleagues from Xilix in the United States to confirm the simulation and optimization progress results of the flat line design of the high-voltage permanent magnet motor.
This year, Jinkang Power will develop a world-leading high-voltage electric drive product and plan to achieve mass production. Chen Mingchang and his colleagues raced against the clock, hoping that this product could be produced in the Chongqing factory as soon as possible.

On the first day of the Year of the Tiger, Chen Mingchang's work was already full. In addition to the video conference, he will continue to follow up on the arrival of all high-pressure spare parts and the progress of new product development.

Chen Mingchang said that after working in Chongqing for more than 5 years, Chongqing's great attention to talents and the continuous optimization of the innovation ecology have made him and his colleagues burst out a lot of "innovation sparks" here, and he himself has become more and more fond of the city.
For more than 5 years, Xiaokang Group, a subsidiary of Jinkang Power, has invested more than 10% of its annual sales revenue in the innovation and research and development of high-end new energy vehicles, and established R&D centers in China and the United States for synchronous research and development. Chen Mingchang is the motor process expert introduced by Xiaokang Group.
In order not to affect the work after the Spring Festival, chen Mingchang did not return to Taiwan again to reunite with his family during the Spring Festival this year. This is the second consecutive year he has stayed in Chongqing for the Spring Festival.
Chen Mingchang said that now is the critical period for the innovation and development of high-end new energy vehicles in Jinkang Xilisi, and we cannot relax for a moment.
In Chongqing, he should maintain close contact with foreign R&D teams at any time, synchronize research and development and make rapid response to the design scheme, split and develop a feasible process path and processing samples in Chongqing, continuously optimize and improve, and finally develop new products.

In December last year, Huawei released the M5 of the new energy intelligent car built with Jinkang Cyris in Shenzhen. In just a few days, the number of large orders nationwide exceeded 6,000.
With Jinkang Xilix's leading pure electric drive intelligent range extender technology platform (DE-i) and Huawei's Hongmeng ecosystem, the M5 has industry leadership in many aspects. The new car will be produced at Jinkang's Chongqing plant and will be delivered to users at the end of this month.
Chen Mingchang said that the pure electric drive intelligent extended range technology platform (DE-i) equipped with the M5 is a representative three-electric product produced by Jinkang Power, which has completely independent intellectual property rights and is in line with China's national conditions. In addition, Jinkang Power also produces electric drive systems, power battery systems, and electronic control systems, filling the gap in the core components of Chongqing's high-end intelligent vehicles.
"The deep cross-border integration of Jinkang and Huawei has solved many pain points of high-end intelligent new energy vehicles." Chen Mingchang said, for example, the main material of the motor rotor of new energy vehicles is generally copper, but the cost of copper rotor is high and the weight of the body is increased. If aluminum is used as the main material, although the cost and weight are reduced, there is a problem of insufficient heat dissipation. The cooperation between the two sides not only produced the aluminum rotor, but also effectively solved the heat dissipation problem.
At present, Chen Mingchang is leading the team to develop the world's leading high-voltage electric drive products. He revealed that Jinkang Power has completed the prototype test of high-voltage permanent magnet motor (including electronic control) and high-voltage induction motor (including electronic control).
"High-voltage electric drive products will shorten the time for fast charging of new energy vehicles by about half." Chen Mingchang said that it is expected that within this year, Jinkang Power's high-voltage electric drive products will achieve mass production. It will continue to lead the industry and become the new core competitiveness of "Made in Chongqing" new energy vehicles.
This year, Jinkang Cyrus and Huawei will also put into production a high-end intelligent car that they jointly build in depth. The goal proposed by Xiaokang Group is to enter the first camp of New Energy Vehicles in China.
