Liu Shanwu, Zi Han, a native of Longkou, Shandong. His calligraphy works pursue frankness, advocating clumsiness and ingenuity, simplicity and thickness. His works have been published in "Youth Calligraphy Daily", "Calligraphy Herald", "Dazhong Daily" and other newspapers and periodicals; in February 2004, the "Former Guardian" of The Jinan Military Region made a special introduction; in September 2004, he won the second prize of the "Commemoration of the 110th Anniversary of mao Zedong's Birth" calligraphy and painting exhibition of the Jinan Military Region; in 2005, he won the Outstanding Award of the First "Peace Cup" Cross-Strait Calligraphy and Painting Exchange Exhibition organized by the China Book Association to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan; in December 2006, he won the Jinan Military Region's "Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the Red Army's Long March" The third prize of the calligraphy and painting exhibition; in June 2007, he won the third prize of the third cross-strait calligraphy and painting exchange exhibition organized by the China Book Association to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland; in July 2009, he introduced the zibo evening newspaper in Shandong; in June 2012, he introduced the special topic of "Xunshui Culture" in Weifang, Shandong; in February 2010, more than 100 works were presented as gifts to international friends by the third batch of peacekeeping troops of the Jinan Military Region to South Sudan.
