At this time, the leopard spirit did not have any defenses, nor did he find a monkey staring at him in the distance, if Sun Wukong really swung the stick, he would really be enough to drink a pot.
Because he did not know the origin of this monster, Sun Wukong did not dare to start, but sent out the Eight Precepts of the Pig to test it again. If the Eight Precepts of the Pig really surrendered to this monster, then if he counted his merits, he would also be responsible for what happened in the future. If pig eight precepts have not beaten this monster and been caught, then Sun Wukong will also be famous.

In the whole way, there are not many yokai who can win the Eight Commandments of pigs alone, and the leopard spirit is one of them!
And the situation at that time was that the eight precepts of the pig were unbearable, and Sun Wukong tricked him into having a fasting meal in front of him, so he ran upside down, and as a result, he did not expect that the gang of monsters was not a monk, but wanted to eat a monk:
"You want to fast monks here, but I don't know if I want to eat monks here."

"The goblin couldn't resist, and the leading group of demons was defeated."
After returning to the cave house, in the face of the inquiries of the little demons, this leopard spirit still sighed, knowing that his strength was not as good as:
"He is a monk, a disciple of the Eastern Tu Tang monks who have taken the scriptures, and his name is called the Eight Precepts of Hunting." I was nailed by him and defeated me. What a annoyance! ”
Of course, the eight precepts of this battle were not smooth, and they were hungry themselves, and after the fight, they spat out white foam and breathlessly:
"The idiot is victorious, and he also turns around, tired of the sticky snot, the white foam, the angry hiss..."
Single a pig eight precepts have been exhausted, wait until Sun Wukong and the pig eight precepts to fight the leopard essence, he will be completely overwhelmed, if not running fast, it is estimated that the small life will be accounted for here:

So is it that the reason why this leopard spirit can become the king of Nanshan is not by force, but by wisdom?

Although the leopard spirit's own strength is not good, its subordinates are all talents, and the strength of each monster is used to the best.
For example, the information source of the leopard essence is relatively closed, he only knows that there is a Tang monk who is a high-ranking monk who can live forever by eating his flesh, but he does not know that the three disciples under the Tang monk are all miraculous. After listening to the little demon at the bottom tell about the skills of Sun Wukong, the Eight Precepts of the Pig, and the Sand Monk, he was too frightened to speak at that time:
"The old demon listened and was stunned."
But the little demon under him was really powerful, after all, he ran from shihuling, and had seen the skills of Sun Wukong and others, so he immediately gave an idea, that is, the "split-petal plum blossom meter" mentioned above:
"Now the big and small group of demons at the mouth of the cave will be raised, and the hundred out of a thousand, the tenth out of a hundred, and only three out of ten must be capable, and those who will change will all change into the appearance of the great king..."

After the leopard spirit caught Tang Monk successfully, Sun Wukong and the others were in a hurry and rushed to find the cave house, at this time the little demon gave the leopard essence an idea:
"I remember that Sun Xingren was a monkey head with a wide flood, and although he was very powerful, he was very flattering. We took a dummy head out and coaxed him, flattered him a few times, and said only that his master had eaten us. ”
Sure enough, when the little demons said that the Tang monk had been eaten and only one human head was left, Sun Wukong did not make a fierce attack, but wanted to confirm the truth and falsity.
The first dummy head was made of wooden lumps, and the sound of throwing it on the ground was different, and Sun Wukong recognized it at a glance. When the second human head made of a real person's head was thrown out, Sun Wukong believed it to be true and could not hold on:
Sun Xingren recognized it as a real head, and he cried helplessly. The Eight Precepts and the Sand Monk also cried loudly in unison. ”
In fact, the leopard elves did not think that even if they fooled Sun Wukong, they would be safe and sound?
Of course not, if he really ate Tang Monk, Sun Wukong would definitely fight with them, but why did Sun Wukong and the Eight Precepts of the Pig fight against the weaker Leopard Essence, but they failed to kill him?
The reason is very simple, because the leopard spirit reported his name, and after this name was reported, Sun Wukong was confused at that time:
"That monk, do you recognize me?" I am the King of Nanshan, I have been debauched here for hundreds of years, and you Tang monks have already eaten them by me, how dare you? ”
It is reasonable to say that Tang Monk was eaten by the leopard essence, and Sun Wukong should have shouted for him to return the master, so why did he not mention the revenge of the master's murder this time, but he held on to the word "Nanshan"?
"How old can you be with this bold Mao Tuan and dare to call the word "Nanshan"? ”

Because the name of "King of Nanshan" is really too loud, the ones who can deserve this title in Journey to the West are at least above the Three Qings, Four Emperors, and Five Elders.
Therefore, when Sun Wukong heard the leopard spirit report himself as the "King of Nanshan", he was stupid at that time, what is the origin of this monster?
"Li Laojun is the ancestor of the founding of the heavens and the earth, and still sits on the right side of the Taiqing; the Buddha Rulai is the honor of ruling the world, and he also sits under the Roc; and the sage Kong is the honor of Confucianism, and he is only called the master."
Nanshan refers to the ultimate South Mountain, is the birthplace of the Taoist family, even the Daozu Taishang Laojun does not dare to call the King of Nanshan, a leopard spirit He De How can, why dare to call the King of Nanshan?
Because of this, Sun Wukong would deliberately ask this question, just to find out, is this leopard essence sent by Taishang Laojun?
Because he could not figure out the origin of the leopard essence, in the later battle, Sun Wukong did not dare to lay down a dead hand, and the reasons were still very good.
For example, after he and Pig Eight Entered the Cave, he saw that the little demons were drying human flesh, and he should have killed these little demons, but he chose not to move, and also found a high-sounding reason for himself:
"I want to show my true appearance, catch up with the front, and kill with a stick, so that I can show that I have courage and strategy."
When he saw the weeping Tang Monk asking for help, Sun Wukong still chose to stay still, and did not save the master before he understood the origin of the leopard essence:
"Master rest assured, and stay up for a while, and wait until I bring the goblin down, so that I can rescue him."
However, after Sun Wukong blew out a bunch of sleepy bugs and put the monsters to sleep, he hesitated and didn't know what to do.
Seven
One moment he ran to untie the rope for Master, the next moment he ran to the leopard spirit to kill him, and the next moment he ran to Master...
“...... Rushing to the middle hall, he was raising his stick to fight, and then he stopped his hand: 'Not good! Wait until the master is rescued to fight. Returning to the garden, he pondered, 'Wait for the call to come to the rescue.' And so two or three times, but only then did they go to the garden dancing and dancing. ”
This move of his, in the eyes of Tang Monk, thought that Sun Wukong saw that he was not dead and danced happily:
"Monkey, I think I saw that I hadn't been hurt, so I was overjoyed, so I danced like this."
In fact, which is the reason, it is that Sun Wukong can't understand who this leopard spirit really is, he is waiting for Taishang Laojun, or Guanyin Bodhisattva and other big guys to come and explain.
In the end, Sun Wukong did not kill the leopard spirit, but chose to save the master and carried him out of the cave house.
However, it was not okay to release the leopard essence, and killing him was afraid of causing trouble, so that Sun Wukong was also quite helpless, so he could only tie it up first and wait for the gods and immortals to come to his rescue:
"The old demon was still asleep, and he tied up his hooves on all four horses, so that the golden hoop rod was lifted up, held it on his shoulder, and went out the back door."
When Pig Eight Commandments saw brother Monkey tie up the leopard essence, he was about to fight with a rake, and Sun Wukong hurriedly stopped him:
"And live! There are also little monsters in the cave, and they have not taken miles. ”
So did this leopard spirit survive in the end?
No, after the Eight Commandments of the Pig burned the leopard cave, the only remaining golden leopard also woke up, Sun Wukong did not look at it, and the rake passed:
"The Eight Precepts went to the front of the palladium, built the old monster to death, and revealed its true appearance, which turned out to be a leopard essence with wormwood flower skin."

In fact, this leopard essence is still a bit of a head!
In the earliest days, he was not in the Misty Hidden Mountain, but in the Zhongnan Mountain, after all, the spells he cast were orthodox Taoist spells.
Later, he came to Leopard Head Mountain to start a business, and also defeated the local tigers and occupied the Tiger Mouth Cave.
This is not what I am saying blindly, when I was in Yuhua Prefecture, the three princes said:
"To the north of the lonely state city, there is a leopard head mountain, and there is a tiger's mouth cave in the mountain. Often people say that there are immortals in the cave, tigers and wolves, and monsters. ”
Everyone who has seen journey to the West knows that there is no leopard in Leopard Head Mountain, there is no tiger in Hukou Cave, and what occupies here is a yellow lion essence, worshiping the Nine Spirits Yuansheng as the grandfather.
After the Eight Commandments of the Pig killed the leopard essence, Sun Wukong personally said a sentence that indicated the origin of the leopard essence:
"Flower skins eat tigers, and now they change into people."
The flower skin leopard essence in his mouth will eat tigers refers to the tiger in the tiger mouth cave of Leopard Head Mountain, which was eaten by leopard spirits, so this mountain was renamed Leopard Head Mountain.
So he stayed there well, why did he run to the Misty Hidden Mountain to take the mountain as the king, was he unable to defeat the Yellow Lion Essence?
No, there was a reason why he came to the Misty Hidden Mountain, because the eastern side of the Misty Hidden Mountain was to destroy France and kill monks. So, if you are a monk who destroyed France, what do you do in the face of such a brutal king?
Of course, where to escape?
After all, the farther west you go, the closer you are to the Spirit Mountain, the closer you are to the Buddhist family base camp, and the monks at normal points are running to this side.
And where is the western side of the Misty Hidden Mountain?
It's Fengxian County, where there is a disaster, as a disaster victim, do you have to escape?

Therefore, the leopard spirit took root at this key location, eating monks to the east and the victims to the west:
"You want to fast monks here, but I don't know that I want to eat monks here." We are all demons and immortals of the mountains, and we are going to take you monks to your homes and steam them in a steamer basket. ”
Why did the King of Nanshan eat the monk before he killed the monk, and then the king of Nanshan ate the monk, as the guardian of the Buddhist family, the Buddha of Lingshan was indifferent?
In fact, this point in time is very worthy of people's deep consideration, and the destruction of France only began to kill monks three years ago. The Nine Spirits Yuansheng was also worshiped as a zuwong by the lion spirits three years ago, and the leopard spirits also ran here three years ago to eat monks.
Even more coincidentally, Fengxian County only began a severe drought three years ago, and the victims began to flee.
And what really happened three years ago?
As you may have guessed, three years ago, the Jade Emperor had a private visit to Weifu, and the route he took was exactly the walking route of the team.
It was precisely because the Jade Emperor had gone through such a situation that the King of France wanted to kill the monk for no reason, the leopard spirit ran to the Mist Hidden Mountain to eat the monk for no reason, and Fengxian County also began a three-year drought.
"Three years ago, on the twenty-fifth day of December, the offering of fasting was within the house, and because his wife was not virtuous, he fought with evil words, and when he was angry and ignorant, he pushed down the offering table and spilled vegetarian food, and he summoned the dog to eat..."
The Jade Emperor this is in the West Niuhe Zhou, the core ruling area of the Buddha to kill chickens and scare monkeys, ostensibly to punish Fengxian County, let them eat and pray buddha, but in fact, it is not that at all, the real purpose is to make them worship the heavens, this heaven refers to the heavenly court.
In this way, the problem is relatively clear, no matter how the King of France kills the monk, how the leopard spirit eats the monk, it will not hinder things, it is not a capital offense.
Ten
After all, the leopard spirit's purpose was not to take the scripture team, he was completely harmed by the little demon who came from the lion and camel country, if he did not provoke Tang Monk, he would be completely fine.
The lion and camel country, we have also talked about it, that is the territory of the Buddhist family, just like this, it was taken, naturally it was not willing, the wolf spirit that ran out was to seduce the leopard spirit.
Because at that time, the leopard spirit's own confidant demon said:
"If tang monk meat is eaten in the middle, it will not be able to get here, and the goblins elsewhere will also eat it."
This sentence is more real, after all, our strength is weaker, there are more monsters in front of us than us, and I have not seen them eat Tang monk meat.
Unfortunately, he was mixed up by the wolf spirit, he had to say that he could eat it, and he had experience, and the leopard spirit asked him why he knew so much, and he explained:
"I used to live with the king in the Lion Camel Cave of Shi Huoling... Thanks to my knowledge, I walked through the back door and came here, where King Montagnard took me in. ”
