Circular on the adoption of temporary traffic management measures
In order to effectively reduce the pollution emissions of motor vehicles, do a good job in winter air quality protection, standardize the order of road driving, and reduce the air pollution caused by vehicles, in accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Atmospheric Pollution, the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and the relevant work requirements of the superiors, the municipal government decided to take temporary traffic management measures from January 31 to March 13, 2022. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
1. From January 31 to February 20, 2022 (except 23:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the next day), medium and heavy trucks with emission standards of China IV and below are not allowed to drive on the road in principle.
2. From February 4 to 20 and March 4 to 13, 2022, when the air pollution process is predicted to occur and it is necessary to take strengthened control measures, in accordance with the requirements of the national regional joint prevention and control, emergency strengthening control measures will be launched in a timely manner to further reduce the emission of atmospheric pollutants.
3. The governments of all counties (cities, districts) shall set up checkpoints jointly composed of public security traffic management, transportation, ecological environment and other departments at the junctions of provinces, cities, and counties to strictly investigate the passage of illegal vehicles.
4. Illegal acts that violate this Notice shall be handled by the relevant departments in accordance with law.
Please understand, support and cooperate with the majority of car-using units and individuals, arrange travel routes in advance, and jointly maintain road traffic order.
