What happened to the Hungarian Second Army in World War II?

The Hungarian Second Army, one of three field armies formed by the Kingdom of Hungary, fought during World War II. The 209,000-man Second Army was the best-equipped hungarian unit at the start of the war, but was wiped out by superior Soviet forces at the Battle of Stalingrad, with 84 percent casualties.

Towards the end of World War II, the reformed II Corps fought more successfully at the Battle of Debrecen, but it was completely destroyed in the ensuing Siege of Budapest.

In fact, most of the better equipment of the Second Army was "encroached upon" by the Germans. The front line they fought was very harsh, hundreds of kilometers long, minus 40 degrees Celsius. Romanians and Italians have also experienced this.

They had no second front, few reserves, no anti-tank weapons, no winter equipment.

In addition, Hungarians have a strong sense of anger. They don't think the Hungarian army should be operating abroad, let alone 1500 kilometers away.
