Traditional Chinese festival - Spring Festival

The first day of the first lunar month is a traditional festival on the mainland, the Spring Festival, which is the first year of the year.

According to legend, the Spring Festival evolved from the first festival of the year. In ancient times, people held sacrifices to pay homage to heaven and earth, ancestors, and pray for a good year. The Book of Shang records: "The first day of the first month is the dynasty of the year, the dynasty of the moon, and the dynasty of the sun, so it is called: 'three dynasties', also known as: 'three beginnings'. This means that the first day of the first month is the beginning of the year, the beginning of january, the beginning of the day. The Spring Festival carries a rich culture and connotation.

The mainland is vast, and different regions have different Spring Festival customs. In the folk, the Spring Festival often starts from the Wax Festival of the WaxIng Moon, and does not end until after the Lantern Festival on the fifteenth day of the first month, or even after the second dragon raises its head in February. During the Spring Festival, people sacrifice, twist rice songs, guess lantern riddles, step on stilts, eat tea and fruit snacks, rice cakes, dumplings, spring rolls, tangyuan and so on.

In the sound of firecrackers, the spring breeze sends warmth into Tu Su. Thousands of households always exchange new peaches for old charms. This is the Spring Festival scene depicted by Wang Anshi, which is beautiful and warm.

The real meaning of the Spring Festival should lie in the harmony of family reunion, relatives and friends, which gives people a healthy and happy sense of happiness.
