Custom: Receiving the vesta god
The god Vesta is also called Stove King, Stove King, Stove King Si Ming. In the ancient legend of the mainland, the god vesta would report to the Jade Emperor on the 23rd day of the 23rd lunar month of each year, and then return to the human world on the fourth day of the first lunar month.
On the evening of the fourth day of the Chinese New Year, the whole family gathers together, the owner of the house burns candles and incense, and then leads the whole family to kowtow in unison, and after cleaning their hands, paste the new vesta statue to the shrine in the kitchen, and then offer the worship in front of the idol, which means to receive the vesta god from the heavenly court to return to the human world.
Customs: Eat origami
Eating origami: Every household eats origami – a smorgasbord of meals left over from a few days.
According to traditional Chinese customs, on the fourth day of the Chinese New Year, the whole family will gather together to eat origami. (Zhang Shouchen's "Wax Qian'er": "The old lady eats loose noodles at noon, and eats folding luo at night.") It can be seen that folding means the leftover meal at the banquet.
In ordinary people's homes, the leftover meals from the first to the third day of the first lunar month are called folding luo. Eating folds embodies the good habit of our masses of the people in working hard and being diligent and thrifty.

Customs: Five ways
Connecting the five roads, originally referring to the five roads of the gods, later evolved into the five roads of the god of wealth. In the old days, after the Spring Festival holiday, merchants generally received the five-way god of wealth on the evening of the fourth day of the first month, and opened the market on the fifth day of the first month to make a fortune.
At three o'clock in the afternoon of the fourth day of the first month, the preparations for the five-way ceremony began until the end of the evening at nine or ten o'clock. First of all, the desk is set up, and generally two eight immortal tables can be put together.
The first table is fruit such as broad oranges and sugar cane, which means that the road of wealth is vast and life is sweet; the second table is a pastry, which means high ascension and evergreen; the third table is the main table, for all pigs, all chickens, all fish, and yuanbao soup. Half of the table is rice, noodles, vegetables, a bowl of road rice inserted a green onion, onion tube inserted a thousand years of red, meaning xingchong, every year red. The wine and dishes on the third table must wait until the five roads of wealth are connected before they can be served.

The owner of the five roads must bring incense candles to the East, West, South, North, and Middle Five Directions of the Fortuna Hall to ask for pick-up, and every time the God of Wealth is received, a string of hundred cannons is fired in front of the door. After all was received, the master and the companions prayed to the god of wealth in turn, and after the worship, the mantle on the original offering table was cremated to show his respect to the god of wealth. The ceremony is over.
