Sacrifice stove: The small year is also called the festival of sacrifice stove, people have to sacrifice the stove on the twenty-fourth day of the waxing moon, people have to sacrifice the stove on the twenty-fourth day of the waxing moon, and the statue of the god of the stove is pasted on the wall next to the pot stove facing the wind box. The two sides are mostly "the heavens say good things, the netherworld to ensure peace", the lower links are also written as "returning to the palace to descend auspicious", and the horizontal batch is "the head of the family". In the middle is a statue of the god and his wife, and two horses are often painted next to the statue as mounts.
Dusting: Northerners call it "sweeping the house", and southerners call it "dusting". In the south, on this day of the New Year, every household should sweep the room and wipe the windows, wash the clothes, brush the pots and pans, and carry out clean and thorough sanitary cleaning. A few days before the new year, the family cleaned the house, which means not to let the stove prince take the soil away.
Eat rice cakes, eat New Year dumplings: rice cakes, also known as "rice cakes", are homophonous with "annual high", eating rice cakes means that people's work and life are getting better and better every year, and they are rising step by step. Nanning people have the custom of eating New Year dumplings in the New Year, as the saying goes: "Nian Zong Nian Zong, Nian Nian High School (粽)", Nian Zong is a symbol of auspicious New Year.
