Lichun is the first of the twenty-four solar terms, so the ancient folk festival was celebrated on the day of "Lichun", which is equivalent to the modern "Spring Festival", and the first day of the first lunar month is called "New Year's Day". In July 1913 (the second year of the Republic of China), Yuan Shikai proposed that the lunar new year's day be called the "Spring Festival", which began to be implemented the following year (1914). Since then, the summer calendar was first called the Spring Festival, which has been the same to this day. Therefore, the genus phase should be calculated from the beginning of the spring, rather than the first day of the first lunar month.
